Chapter Seven

At Polis Clark POV
We have finally made it to Polis after our long journey. Right now me and Octavia are following a guard to what will be our rooms for the next few days. Are you ever going to tell me why we are here Clark asked Octavia. I will tell you when we are in our room. She nodded her head acknowledging my response. As you wish Wanheda replied Octavia. A few more minutes later we have finally arrived at the guest room. Your room Wanheda, the Heda hopes it is to your liking. It is perfect, thank you I tell the guard as he walks off. So are you going to tell me why we are here? Asked Octavia in a curries way. Yes sit down, I tell her. She sits down and waits for me to begin. When we were in Arkedia Commander Lexa came to with a offer the day after she arrived. I paused for a few minutes. AND replied Octavia. She wants me to join the coalition. But after I said that Octavia cut me off. You can't be serious about this. Are you really even thinking about joining them after what she did to us, to you. That's enough I yelled at her in a very angry tone. You may be my friend Octavia but you will not talk to me like that. No I have not forgotten what she did at Mount Weather nor will I ever forget, but the rewards for joining the Coalition out way the event of the past. But Clark. I cut her off no listen Octavia if we join them it would guaranteed peace for us all and the ability to trade with other clans. I know that their is a lot to gain in joining them Clark but if we join them it would mean that we will now have to take orders from Heda Lexa and adopted their laws. I just don't think the rest of Skycrew will agree to this. They only trust you, not her. Finished Octavia. I understand what you are saying O but if our people trust me then they will trust my decision. Plus I did not plan on making this decision without our people's input on it. After the meeting we will radio back to Raven and have her put us on the loud speaker. I will repeat what was said and have vote to decide if we should join them. This should be a decision that everyone should be apart of. If they yes we will join, if no we will remain independent. That is a great idea Clark it make our people feel like their opinion still matters. Replied Octavia. I was about to say more when I heard a knock at the door. I stood up and said "enter", a few seconds later a maid comes in with a tray of food. The Heda is sorry that she cannot join you for dinner Wanheda but she is in very important meeting and has asked me to bring you and your guard dinner and to tell you that your meeting with her and her ambassadors will be tomorrow morning at sunrise, said the maid as she placed the tray of food on a table. Tell the Heda thank you for the food I tell her. She bowed and replied yes Wanheda and left. I look at Octavia and said well let's eat and gets some sleep we have a busy day tomorrow. As you wish Clark said Octavia. So we ate our dinner and went to bed. I just hope that everything will go smoothly.

Here is chapter 7 it is kind of boring but it just sets you up for the meeting which will be two chapters 8 and 9. After that more action will come. I hope you guys like it so fare. Like and comment.
