I wake up on a couch in an unfamiliar place with a blanket draped over me. What happened? Wait. Cuminte_. Was it all just a dream? A cruel, taunting dream? No, it couldn't have been, I remember it so vividly. And why else would I be in this house? I must have fainted, and cuminte_ carried me inside.
I screwed up, didn't I? The sight of him, it just... made me feel weak. I couldn't help it. This man, whom I'd dreamed about for years, was suddenly right next door.
I look around. No one was there. He must be in another room.
I sit up and rubbed my eyes. How long had I been out?
I look around for a clock - there was one on the wall. It was noon. Huh - I think I woke up around 9, so I've only been here for a few hours.
For someone who was deemed to poor, he had a really nice house. A nice television, and it was urban-styled. But that didn't matter at the moment. What mattered was the sound of footsteps coming down the hallway. Okay. Let's not pass out this time around. I didn't want to make a komplete (ignore the k) fool of myself. He walked in and saw me up.
"Y- Oh, you're awake..." he said awkwardly. "Erm... who are you, exactly?" I stare at him, a deep obsession filling my heart.
"Urr- I'm Y/N..." I say. "Well... you know me as I/N..." I say
"Wait.. I/N?!" he exclaimed in surprise.
I smile, "The one and only!"
He paused. "Well, that wasn't what I was expecting when I spontaneously moved here for no reason because the author of this fanfiction is too lazy to think of a reason."
"What? Fanfiction?" I ask, confused.
"Nothing, just know someone out there is LAZYYYYYY."
Huh. Strange. But this is cuminte_ we're talking about, he can be...
Questionable.
Whatever, it doesn't make me think any less of him. He is still Senpai~.
"Well ummm... I guess I should get back to my house?" I say awkwardly.
No. I don't want to leave! But I've already said the words, haven't I?
... I guess I have to go...
"Uh yeah, maybe," he replied.
I have to leave senpai... Fine... but I'm gonna complain the whole time.
I stand up and he leads me to the door.
"Well, see you later..." I say.
"You too," he replied.
I step outside and begin the trek home. Why did I say that?! I didn't want to leave! I look behind me and look at his house longingly. Good thing I have a shrine of him at my house so that he didn't seem completely gone.
But, despite my leaving, I, Y/N, had a chance with what seemed just yesterday like an impossible goal.
