Taking the Regalia(the type F version), was the first time I've ever experienced it. It was a gift, created with the best materials, and crafted to perfection. A high class vehicle, wedged in between both Gladiolus and Noctis, i tried to make my peace seeing as the space was very—limited.
"You sure you're alright?" Gladiolus asked scratching under his chin.
"I'm fine, thank you." He looked unconvinced.
"Alright, whatever you say then."
I didn't want to be a bother, considering Ignis had already taken the wheel, and we were off and moving. Not even three minutes past the gate was I able to get comfortable. "Ugh." Moving my legs tightly together, I tried holding my breath to see if that would make me smaller. Of course that did nothing for me.
"Tch!"
From my left ear I heard Noctis let out a short laugh. He was facing the opposite direction of the both of Gladio and I, to the far left at the horizon.
"What's so funny?"
"Oh," he turned around with a big smirk, "Nothing."
"Why don't you try sitting in the middle, maybe it won't be as fun as it seems." I say, folding my arms.
Noctis furrowed his brows, whimsically, looking like he'd just found the greatest treasure in the world.
"Glad to see I got you off your leash."
'My–leash. Is that what he thinks?'
I was so angry at that moment. Then, I realized.
Nothing could have been more urking, from now to back then, than Noctis' personality. It's been so long, that we've actually talked—talk, talked; like this.It was already hard enough, being under constant rule over the King's head. And for good reasons. But, again, it also made me happy. "Sorry, my prince."
After that Noctis cut his breath short, slowly losing that grin and receded to the landscape quietly as we reached the nearest crossing[bridge]. Prompto could be heard snickering in the passenger side, while Gladio was instigating beside me. Even Ignis took a double take from the review mirror, pushing up his specs.
"Ahem." He started. " From this point onwards, we need to be preservative of our resources. Survival is a must—especially—considering the long road ahead of us. We use our skills, to our advantage, and get by that way. Replenishments can be acquired later on by...some means. We don't know what exactly to expect, but at least we'll try to be on our feet."
"Agreed!" Gladiolus and I exclaimed.
"Good, then we'll be on our...
[And as if fortune had run out, the car suddenly stopped in the middle of some wild desert.]'Great, another break down'
"No, no, no!" Prompto jumped over the door, panicking."Not now. We only just started!"
"Will you calm down? It's just a minor setback."
"Easy for you to say, Noct!"
'Ugh' "Hey, if you two are done complaining, Gladio and I are going to push the car."
"We are?" 'Seriously' "Uh–oh. Right."Gladio scratched the nape of his neck, and got out the car.
Noctis followed soon afterwords, leaving Ignis to stay and step on the pedal. The sun didn't let up, that's for sure. It was a heatwave waiting to dry out every bit of perspiration that took seconds to even reach the surface. If that was bad enough, who knew how much longer it would take to get to the nearest fuel station.
"Well, are you just gonna stand in the back of the car or what?"
Gladiolus and Noctis looked at eachother for a quick second. "Hey!"
"Yeah..." Noct sighed, dragging to place his hands on the other side of the Regalia, with Gladio on the right. Prompto went to the center closest to Gladio; and me Noct. With four of us pushing it'll be faster.
"Ready?"
"Push!"'So this is the outside world.'
