"But I mean still, what is the different between a cumber and zucchini?!" I exclaimed, walking into my house with Jordyn, Jacob, Loren, and Zach.

"True, but—NO I DON'T WANT TO HEAR ANOTHER THING ABOUT EITHER OF THEM, THE NEXT PERSON TO TALK ABOUT IT WILL BE SMACKED BACK IN TIME!" Loren burst aloud. We all stare at her in fear and stop the conversation. We walk to my kitchen and still around the table.

"I'm gonna go open a can of something and eat it," Zachary announced. Jacob the followed Zach to my pantry. I'm gonna run out of food that I just got yesterday. I should've seen this coming.

"Now tell us, how are things with you and Carson? Any better?" Jordyn asked eagerly. I blush tomato red and just play with my thumbs Every since the porch incident after Weston's birthday, Carson and I haven't really been the same. We didn't talk much like we use to do, and we don't hangout anymore which is what I miss a lot. SO DOES JAX! The poor baby won't even go for a walk.

"Maë-MAË!" Loren yells snapping me out of my trance.

"Oh, um, things are—JACOB!" Before I could finish, Caroline, Jacob's older sister comes bursting through my door.

"Hey sis," Jacob greets her with a mouthful of chips.

"Jacob- Zach why are you eating a can of pie filling?" Caroline questions him.

"Cause that all I could find," He sighs.

"I'm make you your favorite sandwich then," I told him, getting out of my chair to make the sandwich.

"This is why I love you so much sis!" He exclaimed, running over to me to kiss my head. After celebrating, he went to go sit in my seat at the table, scrolling through his phone.

"I'll get Loren, Jordyn, Zach, and Jacob some drinks!" I tell them happily.

They look at me in shock, I never, and I mean, NEVER, acted like this EVER.

"Your in a really good mood Maë," Loren said.

"Also a drink for Caroline," I said handing it to her. She looked at me in shock then turned back to Jacob.

"Why is she so happy," Caroline questions.

"Hunter," Loren, Jacob, Zach, and Jordyn say in unison.

"Anyway Jacob, Mom, Dad, and I have to go to an important meeting for a few days, Maë is your parents ok with Jacob staying here?"

"Sure," I answered from the kitchen, almost done with the sandwich.

"Ok, You have to spare keys, make sure to get your stuff later, bye I have to leave now," Caroline finished before running out my house.

I hand Zach his sandwich and sit at the table with Loren, Jordyn and Jacob. I feel someone wrap their arms around my shoulders and say,

"Give me love and affection and no body gets hurt,"

"Hunter! What are you doing here I thought you were on your way to L.A." I ask him, kissing his cheek.

"I wanted to give you some thing before I left," He said, handing me a small box.

"Ooo, what you bring?" Jacob teased in a girl voice. I punched his shoulder playfully before opening the box. Inside was a light navy blue charming bracelet with a silver heart.
