I felt something in the air,
Guess it was your presence that made me feel this way.
Days passed, months too,
It was when I was damned with my life,
You realized my presence.
Held my hand in yours and gave me a shoulder to cry.
Much to my dismay, you became my friend, the best one.
Couldn't tell you how I felt.
Couldn't break the shackles of friend zone.
Dreamt of us together, loving each other,
More than friends.
You tucking flower in my hair,
Looking at me with passion in your eyes.
Then came a time, you forgot my presence,
When I finally broke the shackles.
Completely obvious to the feelings,
You tried being oblivious.
We spoke, not much,
Sleepless nights,
Nightmares in my daydreams.
Now, I'm falling down being high,
Believed your every lie.
Never have I ever thought,
My feelings would be returned.
But I'd still hope, the gravity falls,
Making us rise up high,
Leaving my helplessness of you with someone else.
Making you realize how deep, I'm in love with you.
Hold my hand and take me away,
A place where nothing but, our love exists.
A place, no one could reach,
It'd just be us.
You and me.
My trance broke when she walked up to you,
Held your hand and kissed your cheek,
The gravity made me fall.
Crumbling down, I sighed and realized,
What I had, and what I dreamed of, were worlds apart.
