The Toolshed - 1
It was a hot summers day, in the middle of the summer-break. I was in the back garden doing my weekly gardening- I live for my gardening.
Oh by the way, im Jared Somthington, a 14 year old boy from Alton, Kansas.
I'm totally psyched that the summer has arrived already although we've only been off school for two weeks but I don't know what to do, I mean I'm bored already! I've been thinking about going over to Kelvin's house for a while. Kelvin and I have been best friends for like 12 years! And that is quite a long time to be honest. Kelvin likes gardening too, but not as much as me! Kelvin and I used to run a gardening club at the mall when we were like 12 but then we didn't have enough people and didn't have enough money to carry the club on but at least it lasted for about 2 months.
The other day mom bought me this stupid gardening set that she payed 10 dollars for and as soon as I put it into the ground to dig a little hole for my new tulips it snapped! I was like "Mom, did you know that you just spend ten dollars on a stupid plastic gardening set that was easily breakable ?" She just stood there and laughed. "It was a joke set that I bought from Artie's Joke Shop down at the mall and boy did I fool you!"
I was so pissed at her for doing that after being so grateful and all for her going out of her way and buying my a nice new set that I was already saving up for anyway. So I decided to head over to Kelvin's house for a while to calm myself down.
