I rushed into the loft riping off my jacket I hear footsteps
"Kat...what happened?" Derek asked I looked at him and shook my head
"My dad is....he's gone" I whispered the last part tears filling my eyes he pulls me into a hug soothing my hair he then picks me up taking me upstairs he sat me on the bed where I cry myself to sleep in his arms
The next afternoon I woke up hearing the loft door open and close
"Go back to school"Derek says I got up realizing I have on no pants and one of Derek's shirts I shrugged walking towards the noise
"Well, actually, we can't. Boyd and I are incredibly and unbelievably sick" Isaac says making me scoff I ducked under Derek's arm
"With what, brain damage?" I asked his arm immediately wraps around my waist
"Well, I have a migraine, and, uh, Boyd here has explosive diarrhea" Isaac explains
"We're here to protect you" Boyd says
"Both of you" Isaac adds I raised my eyebrow looking over at Derek
"You're here to protect me? Well, I'm in trouble then" he says I smirked
"Actually, Boyd here came up with a plan" Isaac says my eyes shifted onto Boyd's
"Yeah, I thought about the time Gerard had me and Erica locked up, tied up with electrical wires pushing current through us. I was wondering how we could do something like that... But on a bigger scale" he says they drag a water hose into Tue center of the loft and turn on the water I raised my eyebrow once again
"In a pool of electrified water, it can take up to 50 milliamps to kill a normal human, less than the power it takes to turn on a light bulb" Boyd further explains
"That's comforting" Derek says arms folded now
"If we disable the circuit interrupter in the building's electrical room, the current will keep coming, and anyone who steps foot in here, they'll get a pretty shocking surprise"Boyd says I smiled
"Especially someone who's barefoot"Isaac says smirking at me I nodded walking down the stairs
"alright I've gotta admit maybe this will work "I said
"let's hope so" Derek says I walked towards him and into his room where he currently was he turns to me and kisses me I hummed and he picks me up my legs wrapped around his waist he lays me on the bed I looked towards the window
"Its almost dark out" I said he turns me to face him kissing me again
"We still have a couple hours" he says with a smirk I rolled us over
"Well then make your move hale don't keep me waiting" I said with a smirk he sits up attacking my neck I moaned in response i pulled away
"Shh we have to be quiet" I said before kissing him our tounges battled for dominance he won obviously as his claws sank into my skin making me gasp he pulls my shirt off I rolled us over
