Hi guys! Sorry I haven't uploaded in a while, very busy uploading new chapters on my other stories haha :) sorry this one is so short!

I crossed my arms over my chest and sunk closer into my seat. I turned and watched out the window as the small town I used to live in is slowly passing away. I looked at the mysterious man driving and sighed heavily. Why was he taking me away from the one place I love? The one person I love? Why did my brother even let him? He said that this will help me... I can't see how this would possibly help me though. I sighed again and looked down at my hands, remembering my Dylan... am I really ever going to see him again?
"Your brother told me that you are a Mute... can you tell me why?" I looked at him strangely. Was he that dense? I'm M-u-t-e I do not talk! I just shook my head and continued too look out the window.
"Can you at least write it down on that board you got there?" He nugdged his head toward the board lying in my lap. I just pushed the board away from me and looked at my hands again.
"I will keep buggin you until you do" He said in a mocking tone. I already hated this guy. I reluctantly grabbed the white-board and began writing to him.
I am mute because.... well... because I am! I just didn't like to talk so now I am not. Actions speak louder than words.
I simply answered... but it wasn't the truth... I don't like telling people I don't know my personal history. I handed him the white-board and slouched lower in my seat.
"Hmmm... that's it?" I nodded. Hey, he doesn't know that's not the real answer.
He became quiet and just focused on the road. I sighed, relieved. Glad that he wasn't going to talk to me any more.
"Why don't you take a little nap? It's going to be a while until we get there." He asked me after a half hour of silence. I looked at him wierdly. What an odd question to ask.
"I know that you people like to nap a lot on car trips... am I wrong?" Wait.. did he just say 'you people?' I looked at him strangely. He must have realized his slip up because he stopped talking and I didn't think he would talk for the rest of the trip.
I decided to take him up on his previous offer. I rested my head on the cold window and instantly fell asleep.
