"HELP!" I said lying beneath the bear at it's mercy. But the man already had problems of his own. The two other bears were clawing, growling, and trying to bite the man. Looks like I'll have to fight this one on my own. I have no fighting skills whatsoever, no one taught me, or trained me how to fight, fearful that if I learned I would use them in a bad way. Then suddenly all the bears dropped one by one, the one on top of me suffocating me by it's weight. The man rushed over to me and moved the heavy bear with all of his might.

"Thanks'' I said as i got up. He didn't respond. Instead he examined the non breathing bears on the ground. I saw him pull out a clear syringe from his suit. It appeared to have a tube connected to his suit. He inserted the needle point of the syringe into one of the bear's right paw, pulled some blood into the syringe, and then the blood went through the tube into his suit. A screen on his left hand light up and said "Warning, blood of animal: Black Bear, radioactive. Dispose of blood immediately." "So that's why they died." He said in a concerned voice. "That's not good." "What is not good?" I said. "Well, the bears that suddenly dropped died of radioactive poisoning from the........." "The what?" I said. "That's just it, i don't know," He said. "I'll call in on my radio to see what happened." "*static* Hello, hello, anyone there?*static*" We waited a few minutes then finally someone responded. *static* Hello, hello, who is this?*static*" Said a voice on the other end of the conversation. *static*"This is FBI agent Ching Magellan, and we are at the military base in Anchorage, Alaska. I am with Miles Brown, and our space shuttle has crash landed."*static*" A split second later, a shouting voice boomed on the radio. "YOU NEED TO GET OUT NOW! YOU ARE IN A RADIOACTIVE ZONE AND NEED TO LEAVE NOW! DO YOU HAVE GAS MASKS ON?!!" "Yes we have masks on." said Ching. "Head 5 miles south to the pick up zone where we can pick you up. Start heading south now!" "10 4" said Ching.

'OK, Miles, we are to head south 5 miles to our pick up zone. You need to follow me, listen to me, and most importantly, never lose sight of me. OK?" '' OK" I said. And, with that, we walked on our 5 mile long journey through the radioactive land, to our pick up zone.
