The car was silent.. and had a feeling of awkwardness so thick that you could cut through it.

Everyone was thinking the same thing: will getting Victor to ice skate help him remember anything.

Well, Victor was thinking about how sad it was that animals can't talk, but other than that, everyone was thinking about his memories.

~baby time skip~

Everyone was nervous as they walked into the blue and white themed ice rink.  A tan lady with curly brown hair, and glasses perched on top of her head greeted the group with a friendly hello, and a smile.

"So, what can I do for y'all today?" The lady asked kindly.

"Well, miss—" Maddy started, looking at the lady's name tag, "Kayla, my friend here is having some trouble with his memory, and wanted to see if ice skating would help him gain some of his memories back." She said gesturing to Victor, with a sad smile.

"Oh, I see. Well, if that's the case, then I would be happy to keep anyone from the rink; if that would help your friend here of course." Kayla replied sweetly.

"Oh! That would be great! Thank you Kayla!" Maddy exclaimed, as she pulled the three boys to the locker room. "Alright, boys, Yuri go find some skates for Victor and your self, please. Pitchit, Victor just stay right here, I need to go get some things from the car. I'll be back in a minute." Maddy said quickly, before rushing off.

"... Pitchit?" Victor asked quietly.

"Hmm."

"What.... how... what happened to me? Why can't I remember anything?"

Pitchit turned to face Victor, "... I don't think I should tell you that. I don't think... I don't think you would want to know." He said facing away from Victor again.

"Wh-why not? Did something bad happen to me that I can't remember?" Victor asked, a small amount of fear slipping into his voice.

"Yeah.. you could say that. Anyway.. I don't think Yuri would want to relive.. what happened again. Honestly, if you really want anwsers, ask Yuri." The tan man's voice echoed through the empty locker room, as he spoke. "It's not my place to tell you anyway."

"Oh.. I see. Then.. could you tell me why I feel so safe when Yuri is around? Why do I feel sad when he frowns? Why do I keep wanting to hold his hand in mine?" Victor asked pursing his lips, "I don't understand anything!"

Pitchit smiled at the older man's questions, "because you love him, Victor. Yuri   was your boyfriend."

"Was? Is he not anymore?" Victor asked his voice shaking slightly, from fear that Yuri didn't like him.

".. I can't answer that. I'm sorry.. this isn't really something that I should be telling you." Pitchit said apologetically.

"... it's fine. I can ask Yuri later."

"Hey guys, watch ya talking about?" Yuri asked as he walked into the room.

"Nothing. Are we all set?" Pitchit said quickly.

"Yep! I just hope this works.." Yuri's said sadly looking down, "o-oh uh.. here." He said thrusting a pair of rental skates at Victor, and slipping his feet into the other pair he was holding.

".. thanks."

After they had gotten their skates on, the boys got up, and started walking in the direction of the ice. The only sound that could be heard was the clinking of the skates on the linoleum floor.

Hey guys! Sorry this chapter was posted kinda late... meh it's fine.

By the way, Pitchit didn't know about Victor and Yuri's engagement in this, so yeah!

Question of the day: will Author~chan ever get to the point? (Probably not.. 😜)

Well, that's pretty much it. Bye for meow! 👋😸
