Chapter 16: Spot's Dream

Same Race...😂

Spot P.O.V.
I wake up. What just happened?
Spot's Dream:

The plan was working perfectly. I was hiding in the bathroom behind the door when I heard Jewel asking why there was a dress and shoes on her bed. I was checking out myself in the mirror and DAMN I LOOKED GOOD 😊 and I waited for the signal. Jack and Mush went downstairs and I waited near the closet door for Jewel to come out. She came out. Wow. I smiled, and so did she. She came up to me and I started to lean in to kiss her when she disappeared and the words "NO" came into my mind.

I freaked out. What did the words "No" mean? I was so confused. I mean, if I did ask Jewel to marry me is that the answer? I hope not. I gotta talk to Race.

I got up and ran to 'hatten. I went inside and snuck over to Race's bunk. Shit. He sleeps under Jewel.

I shake him. "Jewel go away! A few more minutes please!"

"Ise not doing anything Race just go back to sleep okay?" Aww she so cute when she sleeping.

I shake Race again. "What!" whisper shouted Race.

"Get some clothes on and meet me on the roof." I say.

I leave to the roof. A few minutes later Race shows up. "What the fuck? Ise was in da middle of a good dream abou-"

"Iss don't care what it's about! I need to talk to youse!" I say. He is rubbing the sleep out of his eyes.

"Okay, well Ise had this dream that we'se was plannin' something for her and it looked like da future. Ise tried ta kiss her and she disappeared and the words "No" was ringing through the air. Ise was wondering if youse could ask her if she ever wanted ta actually marry, and if so, if she'd eva wanna marry me?"

"Well, Ise can try, but that seems awfully a lot like Jewel's dream da otha night. She was supposed ta try on some dress that you picked out for her and she went to change in the closet. She came back out and saw youse standing there. You two were leaning in when you disappeared. Ise overheard Mush telling her dat da dream means that youse two are fading away or something. He told her to keep dating youse and something good will come outta it."

"Ise swear Race did youse tell her about IT?" I ask as I hold him by his collar.
"No man I-I didn't... I d-didn't!"

I released him wondering what I just did. I look away from him and think. "When are youse two turning 16?" I asked.

"May 11, why?"
"And it is?"
"March 21,"
"Okay. Ise know Im saving up for a good wedding ring and engagement ring and all, but should Ise propose to her on her birthday?"

Race fake coughs.

"Oh, and yours." I say turning back to him.
"As long as you do it at the end of the night, and don't get any ideas afterward." Race smiles weakly.
"Ha ha,"
"Ha ha," Race mocks me.
Mush walks up to the roof and stares.

"Oh uh... Ise sorry, I'll go..."
"Mush! Get yo ass o'er hea!" Mush turns around and walks towards us.
I slap him the so does Race. "Don't eva think like dat again or we'll soak ya!"

"Sorry Spotty, sorry Race." He says. (Obviously afraid).

We told him the plan and he nodded and came up with an idea.

A/N:
Okay, just to let ya know, the whole plan IS NOT THE ONE IN THE DREAM! (I crack myself up... get it? I said The One! XD.) The last two chapters were mainly for how the couple feels about the relationship. No worries, next chapter will hopefully be longer and much better.
