every now and then she went down to an abandoned parking lot next to the airport and she would just park her car and watch the planes fly by over her head. she'd take sips from her black coffee and play connect the dots with the stars as she whispered the words to a song playing on the radio to her self. she was a lonely soul, a lonely bitter soul who no longer believed in the possibility of a happy ever after. she sat by the airport watching the planes because they remind her of all the countless times she and him made plans on getting away. watching planes fly by made her reminice of the happier times. she drank her coffee black because not so long ago when she called herself his she drank it all too sweet to remember the color of his eyes. she whispers song lyrics because not so long ago when she called herself his they would shout out the words together. she connects the dots with the stars because not so long ago when she called herself his he found it childish to do so. she was robbed of doing the things that made her happy because not so long ago she called herself his.. and darling when she lost him its sad to say but she lost herself too. so if you ever see the girl in the parking lot by the airport tell her i said hey, because i might just be joining her soon.
