I put the last omelette on Mayas plate and went by the stairs to call her down.I turned on pamdoro and my baby Aug's song Don't forget about me came on....as I was singing along Maya sat down but her ear was against her phone.

Maya looked shocked and also regret shown upon her face....I wonder who called her.

Maya:Girl...Kenan called me and the voicemail said 1:37 a.m.....he apologized..and he said he never cheated and all he did was cuddle with sum trick and that was all.....omg Rae wat did I do? I killed his baby cuz I thought he wasn't ready....and now he is owning up to wat he did....omg I cant-

Rae:Calm down Maya!!Look you said it yourself you wasn't ready also....you were scared and I understand,I supported your decision.You did what YOU had to do okay.Don't beat yourself over it.

Maya nodded and sipped on her coffee.I began to think and wonder how in the hell did kenan come to his sense....normally he is reckless and never apologizes at all.I was interrupted by Mayas sniffling.

Maya:Rae,promise me you won't...and I repeat you won't tell Kenan nor August of what happened at the clinic.

I stayed silent for awhile,like I mean Im keeping this from my fiance,shiiidddd my husband at that.

Maya:Rae

Me:Okay I promise, I think you should call up Kenan and settle your differences.

I pointed to her index finger and said 'that's your king,remember in a game of chess, the queen always protects the king'

Maya:Your right I needa hear him out,imma call him right now okay....well after I eat this bombass breakfast.

I chuckled at her ghettoness and we ate in silence till I had to leave for work.

*skips to coming home from work*

Ugh I hate some of these models who wouldn't wanna wear my designs....like bitch you getting paid.oh well atleast my bank account is never hungry.I walked into my room and of course Maya was asleep prolly from those medication she was prescribed.

I took off my heels and sat down on the couch..I guess ill order some take out.I walked to the kitchen drawer to pull out all the take out restuarant pamphlets  because I couldn't decide what to get.

Mexican..hell naw

carribean..uh no Rihanna please

Italian..naw

I settled for Chinese and placed an order for Kung poa chicken and scrimp fried rice. 

*15 minutes later*

the delivery boy came with my food and I paid him.Just then my phone began to ring.

I looked at the caller I.d. and read Grammy.I smiled and picked it u.

Me:Hey Grammy!!im excited that u called.

Gram:AWW I know child,hows my only grandbaby doing?

Me:Im doing fine,just got off work and ordered some take out.hows my main lady doing?

Gram:Child im doing fine,uh I wanted to ask you if you can swing by tomorrow I want you to meet somebody.

Me:Grams...it better not be another boyfriend of yours...nobody can take grandpappys place.

Gram:Haha noooo...but van you make it around 4?

Me:Um I think I can.

Gram:Okay child,I needa get going...bingo ain't gone wait on me haha see ya tomorrow.

Me:Okay bye grandma.

Gram:Bye baby.

I smiled at her voice and started unboxing my food.

Maya:Trick!half of allat better be mines!what's mine is yours hunty

Me:Oooooh shit you scared me haha.I guess ill give you some.I thought you were asleep.

Maya:well I got hungry

I nodded and gave her a plate and we both plopped down on the couch to watch some reruns of MOESHA.

I texted august that I missed him and loved him but he never answered back...oh well he on his grind.

*skipping to 4 o'clock tha next day*

I pulled into my grandmother's drive way and parked.I turned to the passengers seat and grabbed my purse and pink roses.

I walked to her door and rang the door bell.I waited and she opened with the biggest grin in her face.

Me:Grammy!!!I missed you!

Gram:Child you live like 35 minutes away!

I laughed and I went straight to her kitchen and smelled fried chicken and Collard greens.I even looked in the fridge to find grape koolaid waiting for me.

Me:So grams...what do you need to talk to me about?Oooh I have something to tell you too....

Just when my Grammy was fine speak I had a sudden urge to pee.

Me:Hold on grams I needa go to the restroom...all that water I was drinking this afternoon haha

I walked down to the hallway,I passed by her room.I saw a picture frame that said 'grandkids'i saw a picture of myself and another boy.This is the first time I saw this frame....I shook it off and dis my business.

I washed my hands and looked in the mirror and finally opened the door handle.As I was making my way down the hall,I heard some faint voices from the living room.

Gram:She's in the bathroom now,so lets just wait till she gets out.

unknown:I hope she won't freak out.

I decided to walk slower...lord knows who's waiting for me in the livingroom.I prayed silently and turned the corner.
