Chapter 18 Anniversary Part 1

So tonite is our 10 month anniversary,I chuckled at how long we been together and this is my first real relationship ever. While Rae is downtown working with the models for the fashion show next week,imma get everything in place for tonite.

I called the restaurant Montebello to check up on my reservation, picked out a red & black plaid flannel with sum black jeans. I paired it with some Jordan's for tonite. I wrapped the gift I got her,and went to get a haircut.Today is gone be a good day.

I've been running around all day fitting these models and pairing up statement pieces. This is alot of work but hey that $8,700 check would look good sitting in my bank account. As I was done wit the fittings,I called up Maya for something real important.

She picked up the phone while giggling.

Maya: Hey girl,Kenan stop it im on the phone.

Kenan: Is that ma nigga Rae?what's up I haven't seen you !!tell Aug everything going good out on these streets aight.

May: Shut up!This is my best friend okay get yo own.

I laughed at how silly they are.

Me: Maya I think im ready.

Maya: Wait what?? haha

Me: Im ready for Aug

Maya: Duh isn't yo date tonite?

ME: Not that ready,like letting him into my cookie jar.

I was tryna give her the hint,cuz I kno kenan is prolly listening to the conversation.

Maya: Oh oooohhhh that ready.haha just be safe and take it slow.

Kenan: Take what slow?

Maya: She's tryna sew these clothes together now get off my shoulder boy!

Me: haha yea so I just hope I won't feel weird, cuz I mean im letting him take away something precious.

Maya: Okay kenan stepped outside,come on I see how Aug looks at you,he loves you and he stuck around this whole time: he learned sign language to you,he even went with you to appt on you speech therapy,and he never left you when fame was thrown at his face. You love him right?

Me: Yea I really do.

Maya: There's your confirmation. Sex involves two people who love each other that's why making love is substituted with the word Sex. Remember that.

Me: Thanks girl. I don't feel as nervous.

Maya: No problem, I gotta c where Kenan went so ill talk to you later.

Me: Bye girl.

She hung up and I made my way to my car. I think imma take a trip to Lace, a lingerie store.

I found the perfect lingerie,it was lavender color, sheer one suit. It hugged my body in all the right places. I paid for it and made my way home.

As I got inside, I called for August no answer,went upstairs no sign of him,then I went to our room and I saw a note.

Hey baby,I wrote this letter to tell you to look into your closet. I saw you glimpsing at this peice for months and I want you to wear it for tonite. Ill send for you at around 7 p.m. love August A.

After that i ran into our walk in closet and saw a black gown case. I unzipped it and I saw Vera Wang's bodycon dress.

I kept looking at this gown for months but I didn't know August had paid attention.

I smiled while trying it on, my boobs looked great and the length stopped at mid thigh. I did the dougie, it looked real good on me.

I looked at the time and it was 5:47pm. I needa get ready.
