It's hard to imagine a life where there isn't a romantic ending. Would it be wrong to grow up without someone by your side? If you grew old on a lake side house with an indoor pet or two. If you had an everyday job but at the end you can always end up near a big window sipping a cup of warm coffee looking out to an everyday view of the lake and trees. Every weekend you go out with some of your closest friends and gossip about a guy named Joe at your job who is as hopeless as your dating life. However, as lonely as it sounds, it is only as lonely as it sounds. Someone can be completely happy by themselves.

Take a man named Roy, because men are usually less likely to be alone in life. Say he works at a gallery but technically he doesn't work there because the art on the walls is the same art inside of his studio at home. Say he hates his job and wishes he had a different route to go. However, he doesn't regret art just the way he is presenting his art and his life. At his own gallery, his own art walk, his own job, getting paid by himself, as his own boss. He comes home at 8 o'clock every night because art is always better in the aesthetic light of night. He changes his work outfit into a nice oversized sweater and loose pajama bottoms. Then he slumps over to the wooden rocking chair where a wool blanket and a book lays face down on a coffee table near by. He proceeds to grab the book at place the blanket on his lap. Now he does what any human person does, he looks at the book but never reads the page. Noticing he has zoned out he looks out into the beyond of his backyard.

This is Roy, he came from a mother who was also an artist and a great father who served overseas. His story didn't need to be plagued by the cliche heartbreak emotion to become noticed or good. He grew up with a few friends up to high school and like every other friend they fell out once he moved onto college. He took up an art major, not because he wanted it but because it was something he was good at.

Roy has curly hair that he keeps short on the sides and long on the top. Sometimes he sports facial hair and other times he doesn't. He is rather pale, not in the kind that Casper would mistaken him for a brother but the kind that you can tell he has been living in the cold for quite some time. He's the average build for a 26 year old man, not too thin but not too large. He has some arm muscles however, is not rippling with washboard abs. He has contacts in his eyes however, they hurt him and suck so he sometimes wears dark rimmed glasses. These glasses also hurt his head and ears so sometimes he just goes blind. He doesn't spend lots of money on clothes or accessories so he will most likely get caught wearing sweaters or sweatpants that have a baggy fit. He's an average height, not too tall or too short. He is Roy.
