A Perfect Ginger -> A Kylux Modern High School au

"Hello students. Today we have a new student joining us" Principle Snoke said to the group of curious Kindergartens. "His name is Armitage Hux, and he's from Ireland"

At that, a small red headed boy made his way to the front of the class. Around the room you could hear the murmurs of the children asking each other questions like "What's an Ireland?" And "Ooh does he have an accent?"

Principle Snoke put his hand on the red headed boy's shoulder and the boy fidgeted a little, looking nervous. "Hi Armitage!" All the children said in unison.

The teacher directed the small sheepish boy to a table on the opposite side of the room from a boy by the name of Ben Solo.

Ben watched curiously as Armitage took his seat at the group of now six children. Immediately, a boy that Ben didn't really like, Mitaka, started talking to Armitage.

"He's weird" said Ben's friend, Gwen Phasma. Gwen was a strong little girl. Despite her innocent appearance of blonde pigtails and a cute little smile, kids even up to the second grade feared her.

Ben usually attempted to be as intimidating as Gwen but usually ended up getting laughed at.

"Why don't you like him?"  Kylo asked, still staring at the ginger. Gwen leaned close to Ben and whispered in his ear,  "he's too ginger..." 

Class continued with Ben occasionally eyeing Armitage and trying to make out what he thought of the boy.

The same was for Armitage as well. He had noticed Ben pretty easily because he stood out with his jet black hair, large ears, and oddly shaped nose.

Mitaka also would not stop talking to Armitage and asking him questions. Soon enough, Armitage got pretty annoyed with him and gave him a death stare.

By lunchtime, a few first graders got wind of the new boy and his name, from her younger siblings who were in Armitage's class.

So during recess, some first graders walked up to Armitage, who was sitting alone on a bench reading a book.

"Hey Armitage!  You have a horrible name! Your parents are retarded. Like really dumb!" The first graders shouted at him. Armitage closed his book and attempted to walk away from the lonely wall at which he and the first graders were, but the older children stopped him.

"May I please pass?" Armitage cowardly said, as he clutched his book. He was genuinely scared of the older children. Armitage had already been told he was weak by his father and definately did not want clarification of it by the likes of these kids.

"But why should we let you? This is for your own good. You're from Ireland and you're weird. And so is your name" the kids said. One abruptly shoved Armitage to the ground.

Armitage's book flew from his grasp and he landed flat on his back which caused all oxygen in his lungs to escape. Armitage attempted gasping for air but he just choked up. One of the older kids held him on the ground with his foot not knowing that their actions could potentially kill the boy, and made it more difficult for Armitage to catch air.

Armitage clasped his eyes shut tight as he tried his best to get air, which was increasingly becoming more difficult. He could feel thick tears roll down his face as he continued choking up.

"Look at that. Poor Armitty is crying. You're weak, kid" teased the one holding Armitage to the ground. "What a piece o-aahahh?" Weight suddenly lifted off of Armitage's chest.

Armitage finally took  gasp for air and looked up. Ben was stepping back from the first graders who looked quite shocked and one of them on the ground.

Armitage sat up and scooted back a little. "Hey! Who do you think you are?!" Yelled the older boy, scrambling up from the ground. "My name is Ben Solo" Ben said boldly. The first graders started taking steps backwards, and for good reason too.

Ben's mother was a general in the US Army and his father was former well known smuggler. Many people knew the two had a son named Ben, but not what he looked like.

As the first graders ran off, Ben extended his hand for Armitage to take, "Hi, I'm Ben but don't call me Ben because I don't like it. Call me Kylo Ren instead" Kylo beamed.

Armitage smiled and took Kylo's hand, "you're an idiot. And my name's Armitage but you can call me Hux"

"Well then, Hux it is" Kylo said as he pulled Hux up from the ground "I think we're going to be good friends"
