I woke up to someone shaking me lightly. Then...

"Jackson, wake up. Wake up." I heard Youngjae say as I swatted his hand away and opened my eyes. The day wasn't so bright, I brought up my phone and saw the time, 7:10am.

"Yah, Youngjae." I said looking at him. "Why are you waking me up at this time?"

"Uh, let's go jogging." He said grinning as my eyes widened.

"Jinjja?" I asked as he nodded.

"Pali!" He whined. "We have to go 3 laps before I prepare for work."

"Aish. You this kid." I said standing up as he chucked.

We were in our final lap and we were getting tired.

"What time does your work start?" I asked Youngjae as our jogging became more like walking.

"9, wae?"

"Ani. I just wanted to know." I said checking my phone. "Let's hurry back. Its almost 20 mins after 8."

"Deh." Youngjae said as we began jogging again.

As soon as we got home, we went to the kitchen. I sat down as Youngjae brought out two cans of  chilled orange drinks.

"Komawo." I said as I opened the cap and ran half of the bottle. "This is exactly what I need."

"Exactly." Youngjae said as he brought out two plates from the oven and passed me one. "Eomma, has gone to work. She works at the orphanage."

"Jinjja?"

He nodded.

"That's really nice." I said as I began eating my breakfast of Doenjang soup (soybean soup vegetables), cooked rice, kimchi, bean sprout, spinach, steamed egg, roasted small fish.
As we ate, we made small talks and soon we were done eating.

"Jackson, why don't you follow me to work?" Youngjae asked.

"Ani. I'll stay here. I need to rest." I said as he nodded.

"I'll go get ready." Youngjae said as he went.

I went up to my room and picked up my phone, seeing that I had a missed call and a new message from an unknown number.

Unknown:

Hey, Jackson. This is Sa Ra we met on the bus... Remember? Yeah? Okay. Did you settle in well? Are you enjoying Seoul? I just wanted to check up on you. Bye! And save my number!!

I smiled. She's so nice. So I immediately messaged her back.

Jackson:

Hi Noona. I remember you. And I settled in well, thanks. I'm really grateful for your help yesterday and even Mark. You're very nice. Please, send my regards to your husband and Mark. Bye🙏

After I sent the message I decided to go have my bath but I remembered that Youngjae should be in the bathroom so I went to my closet and began putting my shirts on the hanger and arranging my shoes on the floor of the closet. I placed my caps on a wood beneath the hanger and also my pairs of socks beside it. I also arranged my pants and boxers there too since the closet was really big. After keeping my things in place I heard a knock on my door.

"Come in." I said as Youngjae came in dressed up.

(A/n Just imagine him in Jackson's room.)

"I'm going to work and my shift today ends by 3." Youngjae said and I nodded.

"Araso, take care." I said.

"If you're hungry, mum already made sandwiches and it in the flasks on the kitchen counter. And there's juice in the fridge." He explained.

"Thank you." I said as he waved and left.

I pulled off my clothes and tied my towel around my waist, grabbing my bathing sponge and soap before heading to the bathroom to bath. As I bathed my music player was playing songs.

The time was 6:15pm and Aunt Hawon had gotten back by 5:30pm. She was currently in the kitchen preparing dinner. I was lying on my bed, looking at the ceiling fan so I decided to go down and help her.

"Hey Jackie." Aunt Hawon said as soon as I entered the kitchen. "What's up?"

"I just wanted to help, aunt." I said.

"Ani. I'm already done." She said. "But you can help with the plates and cutleries."

I nodded." Second cabinet."

"Deh." I said as I went over and brought out 3 ceramic plates and the silverware.

"How was your day, Jackie?" My aunt asked suddenly.

"It was okay." I shrugged.

"Yah, Jackie. You know the reason you came here,"she said as she placed her hands on both sides of my shoulder." You can't keep staying indoors and expect to be okay. You can go with Youngjae to work and maybe work there too or something. I really don't want you staying here alone. Working would take your mind off so many things and I'm sure you thought of him when we were out, am I right?"

I looked down and nodded.

"It's all going to be fine. Promise me you'll follow Youngjae tomorrow."

"I promise, aunt." I said giving her a smile as she hugged me.

"You'll be fine, I promise." She said as she pulled away. "Go call your brother while I dish out the food."

"Deh." I said as I ran up to Youngjae's room and knocked. I heard a faint 'come in' and I opened the door and peeked in.

"Youngjae, come down for dinner." I said as Youngjae who was on his laptop waved me off. "Yah, come down now."

"Deh deh deh." He said as he closed his laptop and we both went down.

A/n Hey loves. So sorry for taking time to update. Really been busy with school works. Loads of assignments. So bare with me please.

And I'm sorry if this story is going slow. I promise he'll meet Mark again probably in the next chapter and the Markson ship will sail soon. 😊😊😊
