Rhea's POV
I was quite disappointed sa sarili ko. I'm so stupid. Hindi ko natanong name niya kasi naman itong kasama ko, kain lang ng kain. Ewan ko nalang kung anong klaseng bituka meron ang isang to.
We were walking towards our classroom, when I heard some chitchats.
"Ang swerte ni Rhea."
"Kaya nga, how to be her ba?"
"Ano bang meron sa kanila?"
Kikiligin na ba ako? Or maiinis. Sinong maswerte ang nakahalik ng semento. Ugh. Can't bear to remember the scene yesterday. I even dreamed of the floor chasing me asking for my second kiss. Ugh.
I decided to forgot what I heard and enter the room. I fixed my stuffs. The teacher came in, and we all greeted. The lesson started.
After the word "Dismiss " they all yell?
"Yes!"
"Sa wakas!"
"Thank you Lord!"
Why? Because it's Math. Ugh. I think my brain is dry. I can't process any more information. Too big to remember. Parang lahat nang kinain ko nawala. And nahihilo ako. I need to fill my tummy up.
"You hungry? Let's go." Quin offered. I swear ang panget nang itsura ko ngayon.
Ugh. Math. Mental Abuse To Humans.
As we were walking down the stairs, I suddenly thought of the boy. Ugh. Why am I so stupid nowadays? I even forgot to ask his name. Stupid. Pero bakit hindi niya rin sinabi? Sa dalawa lang yan eh, either:
A. He must have thought na alam ko na.
B. Cause I didn't ask.
It's probably letter B. Ugh. So stupid.
"Relax Rhea. I can see kung gaano ka ka-desperada na malaman ang pangalan ni Kuyang Mabait." She suddenly tap my shoulder. Napasimangot ako nang husto. I was about to slap her when she ran fast, at sumigaw nalang siya na magkita sa ilalim nang puno.
Grrr. That girl. Since matagal na naman siya. I pulled another book from my bag. And decided to read. As the story was getting interesting, someone blinded me by putting his palms in my eyes. I automatically dropped my book and touched the hands, as if I'm trying to remove them. It's big and rough, so it's a boy. He's kinda strong too.
I was getting pissed. I don't wanna be disturbed in reading especially by that kind of act.
Can't he see that I'm reading? For crying out loud. Stop it!
I was about to punch him when he let go. I was blinded by the sudden brightness but as my vision clears. It's him, already in front of me. That was fast.
He smiled, and I don't know If I will smile back too. Naunahan niya na ako.
"Galit ka ba? Dahil inistorbo kita?" He whinned.
"No! Actually, uhm a little annoyed. Can't you see I'm reading?" I managed to laugh. Then he laugh too. That laugh, it was like the most beautiful laugh I've ever heard.
Wait? What?
"By the way, what's your name?" I asked him. That was the first thing I planned to ask him when we meet again.
"Gian. Gian Valid." He offered his hand and I accepted it.
"Why did you know my name?" I asked him that too. Listed as the second question.
"The Dean, suggested you to guide me."
"You're the transferee?" I asked in shock.
Yumuko siya nang konti at napakamot sa kanyang batok. That was really cute.
Again. What am I saying?
"Yeah!"
Tumayo ako at tinampal ang kanyang braso.
"Huh? Eh bakit hindi ka pumapasok?" Tanong ko sa kanya.
"Transferee ka pa naman. It's been two months since class started, marami kang kailangang i-catch up. And here you are? Not even attending classes?" I blurted in disbelief.
"Hey relax. Promise papasok ako bukas." He even raised his right arm as if his promising in a supreme court.
"Ako talaga ang malalagot pag-malaman nila na naglalabuyo lang ang dapat kong gabayan." Reklamo ko. I glared at him.
"Hey stop that. Your being creepy. Okay?" He laughed, then I laughed too.
I can already see Quin heading towards us. With the fully loaded tray. Grrrr.
"Am I distrubing something?" She grinned after arriving in this area.
I glared at her. Then she made a peace smile.
"No. Actually." Nauna nang nagsalita si Gian.
"By the way, this is Gian." I said to Quin. Maybe she has the right to know.
"Oh. Hi Gian." Then they shake hands.
Quin offers Gian to join as but volunteered na titingin nalang for he was done eating his lunch.
I was glancing at him. His perfect features. My heart is on race.
I returned my gaze at my food but really shocked when I saw Quin's face in fornt of me.
Grinning. Like saying.
"May nalalaman na ako."
Shoot. What's the deal?
