Nicki's Pov
"nicki! nicki! get up Its time to get up for school" I woke up to safaree telling me to get up for school. it was the first time he talked to me all weekend. He's been avoiding me ever since I said I didn't love him. I got up and took a shower. I put some jeans and white tank top. I pulled my hair up into a messy bun and my combat boots to match. I even put on a little make up make up. I walked out of the bathroom and I saw safaree walking across the hall. "morning safaree" I said but he didn't even look up at me he just continued to walk down the stairs. I walked down the stairs after him. "safaree can we talk" he still didn't answer me. he walked towards the door but I grabbed his arm
"hey! I'm talking to you" I said almost yelling
he did a deep sigh "what nicki?"
"I want to talk about Friday night"
"look nicki I get it you don't like..." I cut him off by kissing him. I could tell he was in shock beacause it took him a bit before he kissed back.
"safaree I'm sorry I lied to you. I really do you like you alot. I was just scared. everybody that i've ever cared about has always hurt me and I dont want you to leave me."
He looked me right in the eyes and hugged me tight "nicki im not going to leave you and im not going to hurt you. Your just going to have to trust me"
"I know safaree its just hard to trust people after being hurt so much" he wrapped his arms around me and kisses me again
"Nicki just give me a chance and I promise..." I kissed him again to shut him up. I looked in his eyes "safaree I'm yours". he picked me up and spun me around I couldn't help but giggle "safaree put me down!"
"no! your mine now" he laughed. he kissed me again passionately. I could feel the butterflies in my stomach. It was the first time in a long time that I had acutally felt happy. he finally put me down and he grabbed my hand and we left for school.
when we pulled into the parking lot and his friends were sitting across the parking alot. "come on I want you to meet my friends" he said as he got out the car. he opened the door for me. I got out and grabbed my hand and we started walking over to his friends. he could tell I was nervous by the way I was holding his hand.
"damn nicki stop squeezing my hand so hard" I smiled nervously
"nicki you dont have to be nervous. I promise my friend dont bite and if they do i'll take care of them" I giggled a little and we approached his friends. there was four guys and three girls.
"hey safaree" this one guy said
"whats up wayne" he said as he walked over and dapped him
"and who is this pretty thing here?" wayne said pointing to me
"oh this is my girl nicki" I smiled at the way that souned
"nicki this is wayne, drake, chris, ciara, angela and thomas" safaree said
"fuck you safaree! for not introducing me!" This girl said
He laughed "you know im just playin with you"
"whateva I'll just do it myself" she walked over to me "hi my name is rihanna but you can call me Riri" she said as she hugged me.
The bell rang and we started to walk towards the building and turns out me and riri had the exact same schedule and I didnt even notice. The first four classes were like normal and then I went to lunch. I went to seat in my normal spot by myself but safaree called me over to his group of his friends.
"hey babe" he said as I sat next to him. shorty after rihanna sat next to me "hey girly" she said. I barely new her but I could tell we were going to the best of friends.
"this Friday there is going to be a big party at my house and I want you and safaree to come"
"eh I don't know I've never been to a party before"
"oh come on I'll come over and help you pick out what to wear and I'll even do your make up. its going to be so much fun"
"I still don't know. I'm kinda nervous"
she hugged me tight "please, please please come to my party!" she said as she hugged me even tighter
"alright, alright, alright I'll go"
"yay!" she said almost yelling. the whole cafeteria was looking at us and I couldn't help but laugh
"what the fuck y'all lookin at" she said as she stood up. I started to laugh uncontrollably
I ate lunch with safaree and his friends and let me just tell you that they are hilarious. I almost peed my pants. everyone seemed really nice except thomas he kept looking at me weirdly. he would look at me and I would smile at him and then he would look away and then when I would look away he would start staring again. he was really starting to creep me out.
The bell rang but I didn't want lunch to be over I was having to much fun. Unfortunately we had to go back to class but luckily riri was in all of my classes so I made sure I sat by her. we talk so much that we ended up getting after school detention but it was worth it.
I walked out of detention after say goodbye to riri and I saw safaree waiting for me. I ran to hug and kiss him.
"I see someone is in a good mood today?"
"yes!" I said as I kissed him again
"I'm happy to see to that your so happy" he said as he wrapped his arms around me.
"babe lets go to the beach!"
"In the middle of January? its too cold."
"please babe we don't have to go swimming. I just want to play in the sand and look at the clouds"
he laughed a little "if thats what you want to do then come on lets go"
"yay!" I smiled "now carry me to the car!"
"hell no" he said looking at me like I was crazy
"Please" I said pouting. He rolled his eyes and picked me up. "thank you baby" I said as I kissed his cheek.
"yeah anything for you" he said sarcastically
"oh shut up! you know you love me!" he laughed because he knew it was true.
when we got to the beach the sun was already setting. It was a little chilli but it was still beautiful. I got out of the car and ran onto the sand it was still warm. I stopped right before I reached the water and just looked around. this was by far one of the best days of my life. Not only did I make safaree mine but I made a ton of new friends. I started to go off into a day dream but I then felt safaree's arms wrap around me
"can you stop all that damn runnning" he said sort of out of breath
I giggled "Im sorry but im just so happy!" he grabbed my arm taking me back to the spot he had picked out. we laid down and watch the sunset in each others arm. I know it sounds cheesy but it was romantic. safaree makes me so happy. ive never felt this way about anyone before and I know we just started going out but I could see out relantionship lasting a really long time.
