After a long and rough night sleep I had woken up to the sound of my cell phone ringing. It was the chief, he had wanted me to move to riot squad for the next case. Of course I didn't have to go through training with the equipment since I was in the military and I know what all the equipment does and how to use it. It was all familiar, flash and smoke grenades, tear gas, riot shields, bullet proof vests, all kinds of weapons to choose from.

He had assigned Macy, Chuck, and I to investigate a high crime hotspot just outside the city. It was marked last week as a criminal warehouse. We had loaded up on equipment and went to the police truck. Another highly armored vehicle, I got in the drivers seat and started the truck.

We drove for 30 minutes to the crime location. When we arrived we grabbed our rifles and walked up to the building. I could hear multiple voices so I called my team to the door and had them prepare for entry.

I had slowly and quietly opened the door and entered the building. Scanning the room there was an odd symbol on each of the wooden crates in the room. I guessed it was a gang symbol. We had moved to the next door where the voices were coming from.

"Are the teams ready?" One voice asked.

"Yes sir, they are all set," another voice answered.

"Good, maybe this shipment won't go so badly," the first voice said.

The voices seemed to get farther and farther away. I began to open the door as the voices disappeared. The door creaked as I opened it. I had scanned the room once again and walked towards the desk that sat in the middle of the room.

"Room is clear," I said quietly.

"Why are we sneaking around? Shouldn't we be arresting these guys?" Asked Chuck.

"There is something else going on here, something bigger than just a gang," I replied, "Look around for anything that could be important."

We began searching through almost everything in the room. I had searched the desk first for documents that could be useful. One had stood out to me more than the others.

                       NEW ORDERS:
To: Alex Wexler
From: Boss
Date: 1-18-2017
Subject: New Orders

Alex, I have made new orders that I want you to give to the following teams:

Alpha team
Bravo team
Charlie team
Delta team

These teams will be moving to our warehouse in the Rainforest District and will send me an inventory list. I will be personally going to get the new shipment with Echo team and we will return shortly.

I expect you to take care of this job for me or else there will be consequences. Don't let me down Alex, you don't want to make me angry.
               Sincerely,
                                 Boss.

New orders? Shipments? I knew this was something bigger than just a gang. But I need more information to make sure my idea is correct. This may not be a gang at all, it might just be a mafia.

I had taken the document and put it in my pocket. It was time to leave before they found out we were here. I grabbed Macy and Chuck and we left the building. They looked at me with confusion.

"What are you doing?" Macy asked.

"We need to leave, we need more information on this so called gang before we do anything more," I replied.

"What do you mean? What did you find?" Chuck asked.

"I found something that might just further the plot to this little case," I replied.

We had got back into the truck and went back to the police station. I continued to think about what it all meant. The symbols, the document, the shipment, all were important to the case. The chief had to hear about this.

I had walked to his office and spoke with him about the new evidence. He had argued with me but I made it clear that I wasn't going to give up on this case. This case is something big and I'm not going to give up on it easily. I needed to solve this case.
