We had walked back to the police station hours later and I was off duty for the night. I had went into the locker room to change into my normal clothes an came out to see Macy waiting on me. It was strange how she just followed me around ever since I finished the academy. I couldn't figure out why she follows me, she acted like a lost puppy.

We had walked outside of the building and went our separate ways. It was later that she had texted me a strange message, a message that I found interesting. She had asked if I could hang out Thursday at her house. I smiled and said sure in response.

Mason and I were given a new case Tuesday and we worked on it until Thursday. It was a tough case that we had yet to solve, finding leads to the case of a missing tiger. Macy had called me after I signed off for the night to remind me about her wanting me to hang out with her. It was still strange to me how she wanted me to hang out with her so badly.

She had planned for me to meet her at the hangover bar. It was a strange place to hang out but it was fine for me because of the alcohol. It was 4:00pm when she walked into the bar and sat next to me. She had looked at me and smiled, grabbing us a few drinks.

I had started drinking when I first got to the bar and I've already had 4 drinks so I was just getting started. She had immediately started drinking when she sat down. It was like she was rushing to get drunk. I wasn't in such a big hurry though, I needed to relax and just think about all the past events.

"So tell me more about how you survived all by yourself in the war," she said.

"Well it was tour 3, maybe 4, and we had just set up a defensive line," I said.

I had told her almost every detail about how I survived. How I lost my best friend Jacks, and how I avenged him. I wanted to forget all that had happened during the war but it was impossible to forget. Nothing could take those horrible nightmares away.

She had lost her smile during my story of the war, I just slightly shrugged and drank more of the alcohol that was placed in front of me. It was 5:30pm and we had continued to drink. Off and on we drank alcohol and told stories about what had happened during our lives. We were like family at a reunion, only we didn't know each other every well.

Time passed and it was 10:00pm. We were both drunk and could barely stand. I started to walk out the door of the bar when Macy started to follow me. I had staggered out the door as she followed me out.

We had walked towards her house for a while before stopping. It was 10:30pm and we stood under the street light. She had looked at me and smiled. I had returned the look, smiling lightly.

She had stepped closer to me, slowly. I had backed away a little before she had surprised me. She had gotten close to me and began to kiss me softly. At first I wanted to push her away but I just stood there like a fool and let her kiss me.

I had slowly started to kiss back as she had continued to kiss me. Strange, I was kissing a different girl. Macy had waited until she knew I was drunk to kiss me. It made me a little frustrated but I didn't care, I was to drunk to care.

Macy had slowly started to back away from me. Her face was red and she had the biggest smile. I had choked on words to say, continuing to stand there like an idiot saying nothing. She had started to walk away and just before she left she turned around.

"I'll see you later my sexy fox," she smiled as she walked away.
