Jorie set her phone next to her bed on her small bedside table. She rolled over and bed and closed her eyes. She waited a few moments, urging herself to fall asleep. She couldn't.

All she could think about was that her idol, the boy she has worshipped for the past 2 years has read her Direct Message. She for some reason wasn't that excited that he read it, but more upset that he didn't respond.

She gets it, he's famous, a celebrity. He probably doesn't have time to even look at her messages, but the fact is that he did and he has been and still hasn't said anything. What's up with that?

She opened her eyes and heard her phone buzz on the side table next to her. It was probably just her group chat spamming her again. She didn't even want to move her body. She was so tired from her dance group, that she wouldn't dare move a muscle.

She started talking to herself in her head about how her life has been and how her crush on her best friend's twin brother, Gavin, has been going. It's been the same. Gavin knew that she had an obsession on Henry Danger, because that's all Jane and her do when she's over at her house. He didn't seem to mind it. He laughed at them jokingly when they were in middle school for watching it, but now he just calls them nerds and plops himself on the couch so he can watch it with them.

Her eyes got droopy to where she could barely keep her eyes open. She started shutting them and her head deepened into the pillow. Sooner or later, she was fast asleep in her bed.
