JORIE GWEN LANCASTER

THE CRISP MANHATTAN AIR hit her face as she walked out of her apartment building. She strutted across the concrete floors in her high boots. Her phone buzzed lightly in her purse and she went to grab it.

Her eyes lit up as the notification from Instagram came up on her screen.

She chuckled. She didn't know why that seemed so funny to her. Maybe it was because if she got that notification years ago, she would have probably been bouncing off the walls. Now it just seems like everything has come to a full circle.

After dating for a year and a half, the two decided to split due to complications in the relationship. The distance was too hard, the love ran out, there wasn't the connection that there was before. They both ended up thinking that it was for the best for them to split.

While they were dating, Jace got Jorie into YouTube. She immediately blew up, considering she was dating one of Nickelodeon's best loved actors. Agents started lining up to hire the young girl and put her into acting. She guest starred on a few episodes of Henry Danger, until the whole relationship fell out and they couldn't have her playing a love interest for him anymore.

After they split, she got a lot of backlash about only using him for the fame, but they both knew it wasn't true. They tried everything they could to make it last, but they couldn't handle saying three empty words. I love you had no meaning behind it anymore. It was undefined.

I guess you could say that Jorie got lucky. She didn't realize that through this love story, there was another one making a story as well.

Jorie and Chris started dating about a year after the break up between Jace and Jorie. She never saw him as someone she would fall in love with, considering he's always just been her best friend, but he was there for her and comforted her through the heartbreak and backlash. She realized that she needed him, that she really did love him.

She twisted the ring that was on her left hand. Thinking about the events made Jorie softly smile to herself.

She had class in an hour and decided to stop at the local Chick-Fil-A to get her some breakfast. She pulled tightly on her coat as she walked through the door into the small restaurant.

That's when she felt her heart drop. A boy with soft blonde hair was at the register ordering. She looked at the boy's facial features more and sighed in relief, noticing that it wasn't him. Her mind would have been surely frazzled by the encounter after thinking about him the entire way there.

She ordered some food and a lemonade and went on her way towards Central Park, where she would enjoy her meal. She walked through the trees, munching on her food as she went, chuckling whenever she saw a jogger and thought of exercise.

She enjoyed living in the big city. After living in California, she wanted to try out a new environment. Wanted to actually have snow on Christmas.

She owned a two bedroom apartment with Jane and Christopher. She also attended New York University, majoring in Musical Theater. She had her whole life planned out in front of her.

She finished her food and threw sack away in a nearby trash can. She thought that it would be a good idea to vlog today, considering it was Friday. She pulled out her small white camera and stopped to turn it on and adjust it. Someone harshly bumped into her shoulder, making the clumsy girl almost drop her camera.

"Excuse me, but if that would have hit the ground, I would have hit your face," she scoffed. Being in New York gave her a harsh attitude when someone made her pissed off. She rolled her eyes and continued messing with her camera.

"Hey, I'm sorry, it was an accident," the person's deep, raspy voice kindly spoke. He was obviously new here.

"It's whatever," she sasses back, checking the lens and rubbing anything off them with her 'special' lens cloth. She started to walk forward, getting ready to start recording.

That's when she heard something that was very familiar to her. "Jorie?"

She knew that voice too well. She considered it being a fan, but it was highly unlikely. Her breath buckled in her chest, she felt her heart did a flip and drop to her stomach. The twenty-one year old slowly turned around to the not so stranger.

"Jace?"
