2 Hours Later

Jack was sat on the couch with Mark, they weren't doing anything imparticular more just sat allowing the world to pass them by. Mark and Jack had been sat like this for a while when Jack noticed his stomach growl at him. He chose to ignore it swallowing thickly, he knew the deal he and Mark had made and despite how much he loved Mark. Jack was still cautious and reluctant; he was worried about hurting Mark. Mark peeked up from his phone when he heard a very soft noise from Jack. He peeked over at the man, noticing a bit of discomfort on his features. Tilting his head, Mark watched the other a little carefully. "You okay?" Jack had been lost in his thoughts as he looked at Mark almost as if dazed "Huh?"

"I asked if you're okay." Mark chuckled a little but there was a hint of concern in his tone. Jack could hear the hint of concern in Mark's words, he forced a smile trying his best not to allow his fangs to show too much, he knew that they were longer than they should be and he knew Mark would know what was wrong if he saw them "Fine..." his tone was hesitant, almost as if he wanted to tell Mark what was going on but had decided last minute not too. Mark was unconvinced by the Irishman's smile and his hesitation did not help his case. He poked Jack's leg lightly with his foot as he continued to pester. "Are you sure?? You look... Uncomfortable?" The word wasn't exactly the term Mark was looking for but it was close enough. Jack nodded a little still hesitant. He took a deep breath in through before his nose swallowing thickly. Wrong move. Breathing in was a wrong move. Jack eventually let a shaky breath out through his mouth "I'm alright. You'd know if I wasn't..." Jack didn't realise but he was clenching his fists as if he were physically holding onto something. Mark's eyes narrowed slightly, staring the other man down. Sitting up now, Mark moved a little closer. He may have let it slide before, but Jack was just giving himself away by this point. "Come on, Jack. Tell me what's wrong." His tone was soft, trying to be patient and reassuring. Jack couldn't hide it any longer. He took a fee deep breaths in summoning all the courage he had. He knew that at this point he had no choice but to be honest with Mark "I - I'm a little...hungry..." He couldn't meet Marks gaze as he stared at the floor. He could already feel guilt consuming him like a heavy cloud. There was a pause from Mark, seeming to process this information before starting to laugh. "Oh thank god! I thought you were going to throw up or have a meltdown or something..." The man said with relief, settling back against the couch a bit. Jack closed his eyes he could feel that burning sensation in the back of his throat, while licking Mark's blood from his fingers yesterday had been enough to satisfy him temporarily, he was now back to being extremely hungry and he was fighting to control himself "It's not that bad yet..." He knew he was being pretty vague but saying out right what he wanted would only make him feel bad. Or at least worse than he already did. Mark soon was able to control his laughter, going back to watching the other. "Well, do you want to eat something now?" Jack was gripping tightly at the couch "Mark...Please tell me you understand what I'm trying to say..." Jack didn't know exactly why, but Mark's behaviour was leading him to think that Mark thought he was merely hungry for food and not blood.

"Understand what?" Mark asked, looking very confused as the tilted his head. Was he missing something? Still watching Jack carefully, the wheels started turning as Mark tried to make sure he had his pieces in order. Jack let out a shaky breath "Our deal...The bet about the film..." He said in hopes to jog the Americans memory a little "Hm? O-oh." With that, there was the last piece Mark was missing. His face when from realization to discomfort in a matter of seconds. "Oh right...That." He said awkwardly, a little embarrassed for forgetting. He rubbed at the back of his neck absently. Jack nodded a little swallowing once more. As his gaze moved to look at Mark. He was looking for a sign of doubt or hesitation. Hoping that he could use that as his ticket out. Mark's gazed had drifted to the floor, thinking this over now. He did agree to help Jack when he needed it, and that promise still hadn't change. But admittedly, Mark felt nervous about letting Jack feed off of him. With a sigh, Mark tries to relax any tension that was starting to form in his body. His nerves weren't going to stop him from helping Jack. "Let me try that again. Do you... want to eat now?" He asked a little slowly.
