Continuing from last chapter
We just keep reading the letters and we're both laughing our butts off. Gosh, I love her so much, and I want to be more than just a friend to her. But I can't... See the thing is, last year, I met this really amazing girl at school called Alison, I became really close friends with her, and slowly started falling in love with her. She's an amazing person, she really is. I would do anything to make her happier than she already is, but now that I met Lauren, all I feel is confused. I can't break Alison's heart, she'll just ask what happened, and she's amazing. To sum it all up, Alison is my loving girlfriend, I loved her, but now I think I have bigger feelings for Lauren.
++++
We're laughing while reading the letters, and all of a sudden a text comes up in my phone's screen. '😍ALISON😍' I see Lauren glance at my phone, and i quickly shove it into my pant's back pocket, she doesn't need to see that.
Lauren's POV
We're histerically laughing at the letters Caleb wrote when he was 11, when I see Caleb's phone light up. I don't want to seem like a creep and sneak into his messages, so I decide to only take a glance at his phone. It reads '😍ALISON😍' and a message below that. I'm so confused honestly, but I decide to let it slide, as easy as it seems to say that, I couldn't exactly let the fact that Caleb liked someone else slide, but I really tried. I decide to ask him what that was all about.
"Hey, Caleb?" I ask him
"What's up?" he asks, like nothing ever happened.
"Who's Alison?..." I ask curiously
Caleb's POV
And just like that, she asked the question I always feared she would ask.
"Well... Ummm... Alison is my girlfriend..." I say nervously
Lauren's POV
My heart sinks into my stomach. Caleb doesn't like me. He won't ever like me. My happy expression immediately turned into a slight frown.
"Do you like her?..." I regret saying that, noticing how selfish I sound.
Well, sorry folks.
