Life is but a game. A game of survival. You have to live to survive the dangers of every day life. As it pushes you down, you get back up and move forward with a smile on your face. You reach for higher goals and you achieve what you want. You climb the highest mountain tops and you get it.

But only if you want to play the game called life.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------"I am not going anywhere."

Aaron came to stand by my left side while Abel stood on my other.

I spun my head to each of them back and forth. "Don't you even dare touch me." I spat at them.

"But Miss Carolynn, we must go inside and discuss everything." Kane said softly, extending me his hand to take.

I looked at it as if it was the filthiest thing I ever seen.

How could this man sound so convincing and and so calm? He made these men kidnap me and now he's being nice. It's like he thinks that we are already either acquaintances or somewhat friends. And now he was making me go inside that castle for whatever reasons. It could even be some torture chamber. Or it's rigged with different torturing devices, knifes and other cool junk. I found these things fascinating but not if they are getting used on me.

"No one can make me go inside. It's bad enough I got kidnapped. And now I'm getting pressured into a house-I mean castle-that I have never been in and never heard of."

"You're making this hard for us, darling." He pursed his lips in a tight smile.

"You should just go with it," Aaron whispered in my ear. "Oh and there is no torture chamber."I turned to him and gave him a look.

He shrugged and looked back at Kane who was standing and waiting impatiently.

I wasn't going to listen to some creeps. Especially their Mafia boss. Maybe he thought he could get money from me but the joke was on him because I was more close to being broke. What was this thing with some kind of mind reading? Aaron had made statements from the thoughts I've had and it is quite disturbing to me. I wish he would quit answering my thoughts.

"I'm staying right here. Either you are going to let me go or I will not even take a step near that Castle." I folded my arms across me chest.

"Why do you have to be so stubborn?" Abel asked on my right side, a low growl escaping his mouth.

"Excuse me, but was I having a conversation with you?"

Abel's tightened into fists and he glared at me through half slit eyes.

"Easy, Abel." Kane told him. Abel's shoulders slouched back down and he stopped radiating so much anger. But he still growled low under his breath.

"Sir, do you need our help or we can go inside?" Marco spoke out. I had forgotten about Mira and Marco. They stood together with Mira clutching his arm and looking at the ground in dismay.Kane turned towards them and a smile arose on his lips. "Marco and Mira, you are both excused.

Go on inside, we will be there shortly."

They nodded and walked away.

"Shortly without me." I mumbled, shooting a sideways glance towards the fence. I oh so badly wanted to climb over it and leave this goddamned place. It was giving full blown creeps. I did not want to be stuck here with these wackos.
