she just sat there looking at me ' say somthing lucy ' i slightly laughed walking closer to her ' your scaring me ' i said 

' n-nothing ' she smiled and i siled back 

' oh ' i said 

' you brother told me your name ' she giggled ' has he found your other brother yet ? ' she asked me concerned... 

what does she mean he told her my name 

' haha did you forget me lucy ? ' i asked laughing but meaning it seriously at the same time.

' yeah ' she said back to me looking down 

' thats different ' i said tryingto change around the subject

'what do you mean ' she asked me

' normaly poeple dont forget this face ' i said and pulled a funny face and that caused her to laugh at me. i like seeher happy it makes me happy.

' so? ' i said to her.

' so? ' she asked me 

' what do you rememeber ? do you remember me luke or beau at all ? ' i aksed with all my hope that she does, i can see why beau walked out upset it probably wasnt the best thing to do but anyone could he he loved her.

' no ' she saidangry wiht her self ' i remember my house here tho and my mum not be amused with my moving here, she shes soannoying, ive only just moved her and shes probably going to make me move back there straight away now ive had this stupid accident ' she laughd but said seriosuly i could tell. but what doesshe mean ?

'what do you mean you justcame to australia ? ' i aksed her concerned...

' well ive just moved in here ? ' she questioned me. 

' oh ' i fakely laughed at her what else do you remember ? ' i asked her

' i remember falling over carrying boxes into my house and a kind lady running overto help me ' she told me 

i remember that the first day she moved accross the road from us my mumwas telling us 3 togo help her and we refused and looked out the window to see her fall with boxes and mum blitsing out the house to help her since we wouldnt.

should i tell her ? well if she remembers mum im sure shell remember us eventually right ? ' lucy ? ' i said to her and she smiled asin tellingme to carry on ' that was ages ago ' i said not reallt caring because she needs to know right ? 

' what do you mean ? ' she looked confused at me

' i mean ... like ' i didntnknow how to explain it. ' whats wrong with her ' i turned to the doctor 

' well,urm ? ' he said wanting to know my name

' jai. jai brooks ' i said quickly sohe could carry on

'well mr.brooks during the collision mrs.liegh had a mild concusion which made her go into a small coma and during the time she was in her coma she has gained some memory loss. ' she said looking at me and at his clipboard.

' so what ? all she remembers is when she first movd inhere ? 2010 ? dr its2014 ! isaid raising my voice slightly  '

' 2014 ' i heard her gasp behind me

' yesbut looking ather progress, over time she should remember everyone and the puzzle will be soon complete ' she said to me

' sowhat ? shell remember us ina week ? two ? ' i asked

' no that is the somplicatd part mr brooks ' he looked at me ' some people recover at different paces for example some people couold take 1 -5 weeks. sone other people coudl take 1 - 5 months. and others could take up a year almost 2 ' he said walking towards the door.

' a year or twoyears' i said not really knowing what else to say to him. 

' its all that we can tell up to now, im sorry ' he smiled and walked out of the room
