The bright sun shone in Mitch's eyes causing him to squint and once again curse himself for not remembering his sunglasses. Thankfully he only had a few more minutes until he arrived at Avi's house. A short walk later and there he was. After buzzing himself in, he took the elevator to the third floor where his boyfriend was waiting. The second Mitch opened the door, he was enveloped in two large arms and spun around in circles.

"Babe! You took forever! You're only ten minutes away, what took you so long?" Avi questioned.

"I can't just snap my fingers and look this good, it takes time."

Avi rolled his eyes and closed the door. Mitch took off his shoes and flopped down on the couch.

"So, what's the plan? Movies? Sleep? 'Cause I'm down for either. Preferably the second one." Mitch stretched out and grinned.

"Actually, I was hoping we could go for a picnic. In the park. Outside."

Mitch sat up with a start. Before he could protest, Avi pulled out a basket and shrugged. He gestured to the door and kicked Mitch's shoes as an indication to put them on.

"Let's go before all the tables are taken."

The younger brunet groaned, but obeyed and pulled on his shoes. Avi grabbed his keys before linking arms with his boyfriend and heading out the door. Mitch continued to complain the whole way to the park. It was only when Avi brought out the food, did he stop. Avi grinned cheekily to himself.

"Just because you can cook, doesn't mean this is OK. I'd still rather be asleep right now."

"Mhm. Sure you do."

Mitch cocked his head and smirked. Avi squinted.

"Wh- Woah!"

Before Avi could finish his sentence, Mitch had tackled him to the ground and captured his lips with his own. Avi didn't hesitate to kiss back. Mitch pulled back before they did something a little too risky (if you know what I mean).

"You sure you don't wanna head back?" Mitch winked.

"Let's go."

The two packed up their stuff and headed back. Pretty sure you know what happened after.
