You woke up the next morning and to the bright sun shining in your eyes. You decide to get up and get dressed to join the others who were most likely already up.

"Good morning y/n," you hear as you get to the kitchen door way.

You look up from the ground to see everyone seated and staring at you.

"You weren't waiting on me were you," you ask nervously and hurry to a seat.

"Nope, in fact the table has just been set. Dig in," Ms. peregrine says with a smile.

You lower your head and look at each individual until you made it to Enoch. He had already been staring at you with a guilty face. You quickly glance away and fidget your fingers in your lap. Olive, who sits across from you, takes notice.

"So how do you like it here so far y/n," she pipes up.

You cock your head up and stammer an answer.

"I...it's quite lovely thank you. All of you are so kind and i can't thank you enough."

Your vision then goes back to Enoch for a flash of a second before you look to the porrage that lie before you.

"I bet you've had some fun while you where here already, yes?"

You cock your head up in a confused manner at Olive's sarcastic remark.

"What are you-"

Olive sprouts up and slams her fists on the table and looks at you with the most sour face.

"Don't play innocent, i heard Enoch go to your room last night!"

Everyone's eyes widen as they dare not to look at anyone. All but Ms. Peregrine who remained calm and silent.

"It's not like that."

Your heart begins to pound at the memory. Tears begin building at your eyes.

"Then why is it that he," she sternly says while pointing to Enoch," was in your room last night?"

"That is none of your business Olive," Enoch shouts now sprouting up and slamming his hands on the table.

An awkward silence fills the room and no one dares to eyeball anyone.

"That vision... has it come true," Olive asked not daring to look up.

"That's no concern of yours. Whether it happens or not is beyond any of our control and you can't do a damn thing about it," Enoch replys in a calmer tone.

You push yourself from the table and run out of the room and out of the house. You run and run as fast as you can. Tears are caught with the force of the wind as you continue until you can't any more. Your feet find the sand and your ears find the ocean. You stop and wipe your eyes to behold the soothingness of the beach. You glance back to see the house sitting atop the way. No one followed...good.

You take off your shoes and carry them as you stroll the warm sand. You toss them to a nearby rock as well as your pocket sketch book and pencil, before running to the water. You wrinkle your toes in the damp sand and wait for the water to return on its continuous cycle.

You smile and cup your hands and throw the water to the air. Your hair, dress, and skin all received tiny water drops. You giggle and continue to play in the water for what turned into hours. At one point you even skinny dipped. All articles of clothing were thrown to the rock and you took a dive to the water until you got too tired to continue.

When you finished playing, you put your clothes back on and sat up against the rock that once held all your items. You smiled warmly as you watched the sun set. The pencil that had once been tossed in the sand was picked up along with the sketch book. You began doodling away on what you were seeing.

With the finished product you held it up to compare it with the colorful sky.

"Whoa, you're amazing," a voice right beside you stated.

You lunged forward and cocked your body around to see who it was.

"I didn't mean to scare you."

It was Enoch. He offered you a hand to help you up, but you declined.

"Thanks. What do you want," you ask getting up and dusting off your dress.

"Well you've been gone all day, I was getting worried."

You give him a hate look and scoff.

"Tch, i thought you weren't interested in a tramp like me or whatever," you mimic.

"Look... I didn't mean what I said last night. I just got really nervous."

"Nervous?"

"Yeah, i was up past curfew, i was in a girl's room, not to mention a cute girl's room..." He mumbled that last part to where you couldn't hear.

"What?"

"Can I just make it up to? Can we start over?"

He holds out his hand as to shake yours.

You hesitate for a long time, studying him up and down. Finally you make a decision.

"Y/n."

A huge grin spreads across his face.

"Enoch."
