Moana felt her heart drop to the ground as Maui left. Her worst nightmare came true, being left alone all over again. She thought Maui would never leave her. He was there for everything, when she was sick and when they were sailing. However, when he trained her to become a wayfinder, it was her favorite time with him. He cuddles her every night while he sailed, gave her food when she was hungry or water when she was thirsty and most of all, showed her love like no other.

"Why did you bring me here?" She asked the Ocean.

She looked up, tears forming in her eyes.

"I'm not the right person."

She stretched out her hand, the heart glowing brightly.

"You have to choose someone else."

She began sobbing.

"CHOOSE SOMEONE ELSE! PLEASE..."

The Ocean grabbed the heart and went back down, the bright emerald glow fading. Moana collapsed to her knees feeling helpless, emotions waged her mind. Then, a bright blue glow eminated from the distance. A bright blue stingray.

"Your a long way past the reef."

She turned her head seeing Gramma Tala.

"Gramma...?!"
"Guess I chose the right tattoo."
"Gramma!!!"

She ran to her arms, feeling loved once again. Ever since she lived alone, Gramma Tala was always there for her, almost like a mother.

"I tried Gramma, I couldn't do it. I wanted to make you proud. I failed you."
"It's not your fault. I never should have put so much on your shoulders. I am VERY proud of you. If you are ready to go home, I will be with you."

Moana sniffed. She walked towards the end of the boat and grabbed her oar, held it above the ocean and froze.

"Why do you hesitate?"
"I don't know."

Gramma Tala stood up and started singing:

"I know a girl from an island, she doesn't stand up from the crowd, she loves the sea and her people, she makes me and her father proud. Sometimes the world seems against you, the journey may leave a scar, but scars can heal and reveal just where you are. The people you know will change you. The things you have learned will guide you and nothing on Earth can silence, the quiet voice, still inside you. And when that voice starts to whisper, Moana, you've come so far, Moana listen, do you know who you are?"

Moana thought for a moment before asking:

"Who am I?"

It was a very known question indeed. Most people have trouble with knowing themselves. Who was she?

"I am a simple, poor village girl, we are descended from voyagers, who found their way across the world, they called me. I delivered us to where we are, I have journeyed farther, I am everything I learned and more, still they call me. And the call isn't out there at all, it's inside ME! It's like the tide, always falling and rising. I will carry you here in my heart you remind me, that come what may.... I know the way.... I AM MOANA!!!"

She doved down in the ocean, clutched the heart and went back up. Gramma Tala was gone, she looked up to her sail amd started sewing it. She pulled the rope that will tighten the big pieces off wood nearly falling out of place, checked when the current's warm and measured the stars. She was ready once again, she sailed day and night. After a few days, she made it to the battlefield.

"Te Ka was stuck in the barrier islands, we make our way around, we make it to Te Fiti. You don't understand any of these, because you are a chicken."
