Moana and Maui's canoe swiftly sailed the sea, Maui was looking far ahead, there was a fog so Moana couldn't really see, so he did the looking, he took a glance way down on Moana, she tied a rope and pulled the other one that lifted the sail, she then found out that Maui was starring at her.

"What?"
"I figured it out. You know, the ocean used to love when I pulled up islands, 'cause your ancestors will sail the seas, find them. All those new lands, new villages, was the water that connected them all. And if I were the ocean, I think I'll be looking for a, curly-haired, non-princess, to start that again."
"That's so nice of you to say. Probably should have said it in front of Te Fiti."
"I did."

He stretched out his arm to reveal Te Fiti.

"Moana of Motunui, I believe you have officially delivered Maui across the great sea."

He then whispered to Moana's ear: "Moana Moana Moana, your so amazing!". Moana chuckled.

"It's time."

Moana gazed at Maui's eyes, it was filled with compassion and kindness. She gave the heart to Maui who gladly accepted it. He looked far in the distance and took a last glance at his daughter.

"Be careful. Go save the world."

He smiled and took off in hawk form. Te Ka awoke and begin attacking Maui in various directions. Maui was hit plenty of times but he manage to didn't really got hurt. He landed on the canoe, taking quick breaths. Moana hugged him while observing Te Ka. She found a small passage where she thinks she could make it. She pulled the rope and the breeze blew on the sail.

"Wait, what are you doing?"
"Finding you a better way in."
"We won't make it!"
"Yes we will."
"Turn around!"
"No!"
"Moana stop!!!"

Te Ka's lava hand was headed them, without any hesitation, Maui used his hook to deflect the attack. A huge boom echoed across the sky, the impact was absolutely ultimate. Moana and Maui, Heihei and the canoe was sent off flying away from Te Ka. After a few minutes, Moana woke up and was confused at first then everything that happened a few minutes ago, started reminding her of what had happened. Heihei was too tired and dizzy because of the impact, and Maui... was physically okay but was emotionally hurt.

"Are you alright?"

No response.

"Maui?"

Maui turned around revealing a nearly broken magical fishhook. She gasped lightly, how could she had done such a thing? After 1000 years being trapped in an island, Maui loved his fishhook dearly, when he did everything just to save Moana, Heihei and her canoe, she disobeyed him for being too stubborn, he sacrificed his fishhook to yet again save Moana.

"I told you to turn back." Maui snapped, breaking the odd silence.

"I thought we could make it..."
"WE?"
"I thought, I could make it. We can fix it."
"It was made by the gods, you can't fix it!"
"Next time we'll be more careful, Te Ka was stuck in the barrier islands, it's lava, it can't go in the water."
"I'm not going back."
"You said you will restore the heart."
"My hook is cracked, one more hit, and it's over."
"Maui, you said you'll restore the heart."
"Without my hook, I am nothing."
"That's not true!"
"Without my hook, I am nothing!"

Maui dropped the heart, and walked towards the end of the canoe sighing, Moana picked up the heart with a broken heart and face.

"We are only here, because YOU stole the heart in the first place."
"No were here because 'the ocean chose you' and you believed it."
"I am Moana of Motunui... you will board my boat..."
"Goodbye Moana."
"Sail across the sea..."
"I'M NOT KILLING MYSELF SO YOU COULD PROVE SOMETHING YOUR NOT!"
"And restore the heart of Te Fiti, the ocean chose ME!!!"
"It chose wrong..."

Maui used his powers and turned to hawk and flew off, leaving a broken hearted Moana behind to fight off her tears.

"DADDY!!!"
