Joey's POV:
"Joey, I heard that empty house down the road finally sold." Tayler said to me while walking in my room and sitting on my bed. Tayler lives right across the street from me, so he basically comes over whenever he wants to.
"I know, and I don't know whether I'm upset about it or happy. I guess we'll have to see because the last family that lived there was pretty bad..They're getting here tomorrow I guess." Right after I said that, a car and a moving truck went down my street and around a bend.
"Tomorrow, huh?" he asked me while laughing. I laughed slightly, looking out my bedroom thinking about what the new family might be like.
"Bro my mom wants me home for something I've gotta go" Tayler said.
"Alright, see you later bro." I said back.
With that, he leaves. I decide to take a walk because I'm bored and it's nice out.
"Mom I'm going for a walk." I shout as I'm walking out the door.
"Okay honey be back by 7:00." She shouted back.
"Okay" I said and got my phone out of my pocket, it was 5:00 already. "Two hours, let's go" I say to myself and then start walking.
Kristina's POV:
After I'm done checking out the rest of the house, I want ask my mom if I can go for a walk and check out my new neighborhood. That's exactly what I do.
"Mom" I say while walking up to her.
"What's up" she says.
"Can I take a walk? I kind've want to get to know the place." I say.
She thinks for a moment and then replies. "Sure but don't be out too late, take your phone with you and turn your ringer on in case I need to get ahold of you."
"Okay thanks" I say to her and then go up to McKenna who is still admiring the house outside.
I laugh as I walk up to her, and then I say "McKenna I'm going for a walk, want to come?
"No I'll just stay here and help your mom unpack." she says
"Alright, your loss" I say walking off.
I was taking everything in and observing for a little while. I got a notification from musical.ly saying "itsjoeybirlem is live. Come watch!" I think of McKenna and laugh. I click on the notification to see Joey walking somewhere.
"So yeah guys, sorry this wasn't a long broadcast I'll go live on younow later tonight. Don't forget to follow me if you haven't already, and I just posted three new musically's so go like themmm. Love you guys, byeeee" he says as he ends the broadcast.
I decide to check out his three new musical.lys and I like them all, I have to admit he is a little cute.
Joeys POV:
"Love you guys byeeee" I say and end the broadcast. I go back on instagram and watch a few video edits that fans made.
I'm in the middle of watching one when I bump into someone, causing both of us to fall, with me on top. I hear something hit the ground and the person says "I'm so sorry" I realize by her voice that it's a girl.
I get up off of her as she sits up. "I'm sorry too but it's not your fault, I was on my p-" I stop mid sentence as she looks up at me. Wow she's really pretty. "I'm Joey" I smiling at her and offering her my hand. She stares at me with wide eyes, I laugh and say "take a picture it'll last longer." She laughs too, and then she smiles and takes my hand.
I help her up and she says "I'm Kristina" and then adds "with a 'K' ". I laugh and then say "that's a very pretty name for a very pretty girl." She blushes and I say "well, nice to meet you Kristina with a 'K' " she laughs and says "Nice to meet you too Joseph" I interrupt her and end her sentence saying "with a 'J' " causing us both to laugh.
"Wait how'd you know it my full name was Joseph?" I ask. "I... um.. well..."
"Do you know who I am?" I ask.
"Yeah, kind've" she says looking down and then continues "my best friend who lives with my mom and I, she watches all of your videos and she's obsessed with you" she says chuckling lightly.
She then looks at something and I follow her eyes to what looks like her phone on the ground. I bend down to pick it up and I hand it to her.
"Thanks" she says smiling.
"You're welcome" I say smiling back.
We stand there in awkward silence until I speak up "hey, um do you want me to walk you home since it's getting a little dark?" I ask nervously while scratching the back of my neck. She smiles and says "sure".
We've been walking for about ten minutes just getting to know each other better and it's starting to get cold. I notice Kristina rub her arms up and down while she shivers, covered in goosebumps.
"Are you cold?" I ask her.
"Umm yeah.. a little..." she says.
"Here, take this" I say while smiling and handing her my hoodie.
"You don't have to, really" she says.
"I know I don't have to, but I want to" I say to her.
"Thank you" she says while blushing and putting it on.
"You're welcome" I say to her, slightly blushing as well---it's a good thing it's dark.
We make it back to what I guess is her house.
Once we start walking up her driveway, I get a text from my mom.
Joey; (normal) Jen; (his mom-bold)
J- hey jojo, my work just called and they need me for the rest of the night, I won't be back until tomorrow morning. Sophia is staying at your grandmothers and I don't want you staying home alone, so you can stay at a friends house.
J- alright thanks mom love you
J- love you too jo, bye
J- bye
*end of conversation*
Tayler isn't home, so I guess I'll have to ask Kristina...
"Hey Kristina?"
"Yeah?" She says
"Is there any possible way I could stay over tonight? I'll leave early in the morning I promise"
"Umm sure I guess... but why?"
I show her the texts between my mom and I.
"Ohhh okay, and yeah you can stay over, but my mom can't find out, and neither can McKenna." She says.
"Who's McKenna?" I ask.
"My best Friend who lives with us, the one I told you about, she watches all of your videos, remember?"
"Oh yeah" I say chuckling slightly.
I followed her up to the door and she turns to look at me.
"Stay here, I'll be right back" she says entering her house. I nod and stand there, looking at her house.
She comes back after about 4 minutes.
"Everyone's asleep, they must've been tired from the trip today. Follow me and be quiet." She says.
I nod and follow her up a set of stairs to a room that I'm guessing is hers.
