Recap: "I've never seen you around before, are you new?" She asks while sitting down next to me.
"Yeah, I just moved in," I reply.
She has long, blonde hair with beautiful blue eyes. She looks to be about my age.
Before I could say anything else, I saw a boy walking around with a lady who had a camera. They weren't too far away. Once I get a closer look at them, I realize who it is. Who is it? Joey. I keep trying to avoid him, but he turns up wherever I am. I don't understand... "What're you looking at?" Cassidy asks, snapping me out of the trance I was in.
"Oh, nothing I-" I get cut off by Cassidy.
"OH MY GOSH THAT'S JOEY BIRLEM," she says, really loud.
He looks in our direction and smiles at Cassidy. He looks over at me freezes. He gives me a slight smile and starts to walk towards us.
Why?

Kristina's POV: As he gets closer, I try to avoid eye contact while Cassidy jumps up off of the ground and starts freaking out.
"Oh my gosh, you're The Joey Birlem!" She basically screams.
"Yep, that's me," he says, chuckling a bit.
He hugs her and glances over at me while they're hugging. I immediately divert my eyes and watch the photographer that Joey was with. She's focusing her camera on this beautiful purple lilac bush.
I glance back to Joey and Cassidy to see them still talking. I get up and slowly make my way over to the lady that has been with Joey.
Once she sees me, she stands up from her crouching position and puts the camera back around her neck. She smiles at me warmly and I realize I'm just standing here, staring at her, probably looking really stupid.
"Oh sorry, I was just watching you over there and I'm really into photography, too," I said while smiling awkwardly.
"No you're fine," she chuckles, "I can show you some of my pictures if you'd like," she says, taking her camera off of her neck once again.
"I'd love that," I say, now standing beside her.
"My name's Jessica, but you can just call me Jess," she says, glancing up at me and flashing a smile.
"Kristina," I say as I smile back at her.
She turns on her camera and shows me some of her pictures:
