Think about the Mail! (Camren)

Chapter 21

            

After Glee

Once Camila and Lauren headed back into the choir room the Latina was a little surprised but very happy that Camila had saved her a seat next to her. She was also a little shocked to see that Dinah was all over Normani up the back. Lauren gave her friend a questioning look while the African-American just have her two thumbs up and a goofy smile while Dinah kissed her neck. Lauren just smiled and shook her head. Austin was still standing behind the piano not even going to attempt to go near Lauren. Noticing that the two girls were back Mr. Brown went back to his lesson asking if anybody else had anything to sing. No one really had anything so they just had an impromptu jam session.

When Glee was over and everyone headed out Lauren wasn't sure if she was allowed to hold Camila's hand or link their arms together or even hold her books so she just stood there awkwardly hoping the brunette would make the first move.

"Do you need a ride home?" Lauren asked

"You don't have to do that Lauren." Camila replied

"I don't have to but I want to."

Camila gave her a small smile.

"Okay, thanks. I just need to grab some stuff out of my locker. I'll meet you by your car."

"Ok," Lauren smiled and automatically lent down to kiss her but was a little hurt and disappointed when Camila moved her head making Lauren catch her on the cheek instead.

"Well I better go get my stuff then." Camila quickly said before leaving the choir room.

Lauren waited by her car trying to ignore the two Cheerios making out in her back seat. She didn't understand those two sometimes. One minute Dinah is mad then they are all over each other. Lauren was also a little jealous; she wanted that back with Camila. She just hoped that this no kissing thing wasn't going to last because what about Saturday night? Was that cancelled as well? She thought better not to mention it right away with the brunette she just hoped she would bring it up instead.

Camila finally came walking up to Lauren's car with her little trolley tailing behind her.

"Here let me help you" Lauren offered. She grabbed the trolley and put it in the boot of the car.

"Um- Lauren?"

"Yeah?"

"They're not going to like have sex while you drive, are they?" Camila asked a little concerned.

Lauren looked into the back seat where Dinah was straddling Normani's hips and had her tongue down her throat. Lauren got worried when she couldn't see all four hands. The Latina girl couldn't help the slight blush that appeared on her face and quickly turned away from the two cheerios.

"Maybe we should go for a walk and go find some bleach for my poor car?" She suggested.

Camila just laughed and nodded.

The two girls began to go for their unexpected walk, Lauren's hand began to fidget she was still unsure where the two really stand so she decided to just go for it and find out. The green eyed girl quickly moved her hand and grabbed hold of Camila's lacing their fingers together. She was relieved that she didn't pull away or even flinch, which made Lauren smile.

After walking around the school grounds for a while in silence Lauren was itching to say something and Camila could tell.

"Just ask Lauren," the brunette finally said

"What?"

"Whatever it is you want to ask or say just do it otherwise I fear you will have a stroke you've been tense this whole time."
