— CHAPTER SEVEN —
You must stay.
Watch the sheep, keep safe. In the meantime you must wait, dear.
A feminine voice echoed across, a woman stood in front of me, tall as ever compared to myself but a face was blurred. The room became black along a sudden pale moon wanting the attention in the night sky. I could no longer see anything but a moon, and soon enough stars had manifested into the darkness, surrounding the majestic moon seeming a little too close above my head. Too close. The sheep in sight began to shed blood, growing in their beige coat of fleece. I was confused about everything and could not understand what I was seeing. I looked up to the moon, now closer than ever followed by a sudden bird like creature that flew across the moon, and had landed on a oak tree, the eyes were yellow and glowed in darkness, staring at me.
Traitor.
It whispered with it's deep voice. The bird-like creature bounced off the oak tree and flew towards me.
Gasp!
Before I knew, I had pulled my own body upwards, awoken in my own bed drenched in sweat gasping for air. My hair was no longer bright red but burgundy from it's thick soaked locks matted across my entire face at how quick I had sat up, the stinging sensation grew in my chest at the amount of rapid breaths I had been doing at the moment. It was a dream, one I could not understand. I hadn't realized Revena was sitting there, watching and observing me whilst I nearly choked on my own breath "Revena, you're not in the kitchens?" seemed to be the first question I was more curious to ask rather than why she was in my chambers.
"It's nearly Daylight. It'd be too early" She replied inattentively, studying my shaky-like skin and drenched face "Bad dream?" Revena asked once she stood, she approached the window and opened the two drapes aside only to reveal by accident the white rose Cersei had given me. The first thing I noticed was the lack of posture and it's missing pedals that had been on the floor, I instantly rushed and took the vase merely realizing I had pushed her aside with no hesitation.
"Oh no. No, no" I whispered to myself, brushing it's wrinkled pedals upward. It had meaning. I was not to complain when it came about having sex with her grace, the amount of men and woman would make the other wealthy if one had bet to count on who would fuck Cersei Lannister endlessly, and I'd be one of those wealthy woman. But this had a far more deeper meaning than lust, I would rather be a delusional woman than to believe nothing is ever good in her, and this was one of those proofs, not to the eyes of the world but to myself and delusions.
In this case, no matter the times I had told myself and Revena she was wrong that I am not changed but I was. I had allowed thoughts spill into my head whilst working, cleaning, and I could not help but to see the look in Cersei's eyes. The woman had perhaps hated me, if anything she must know I was one to be curious about things, a weakness for those in need and she was the opposite, it had brought me to be confused to why her ways had aroused me, why her serious eyes and cruelty sent the hairs on the back of my neck to rise. The dream had run in my thoughts along with my concern for Cersei's reactions of my protection for someone I did not know of.
