“You are the first one to actually care about me and say it out loud.”

“I doubt that’s true,” He said.

“No it is. All my life people thought I was weird because I like different things and no one would come close to being friends with me. I’m serious.”

“Well now you are with your own kind,” He said. He led me back to the car and we continued to drive to the supposed training grounds that Liam had found. They were high in the mountains with no cell service  and it was super cold. When we got there I stepped out and everyone ambushed us.

“Where were you guys!!??” Liam shouted.

“Alright its my fault calm yourselves sheesh! I had a little melt down!” I shouted .

“Let us know next time then!” Liam said.

“How by pigeon? No cell service you idiot!”

“Dude calm down!” Tristen said. I realized I was getting mad a little and I hid my eyes. Ash rubbed my shoulder and I hugged him, while burying my face in his chest. I listened to his heartbeat and it calmed me just a bit.

“Alright lets train.” I said separating from Ash.

I was assigned to kill some of the trees that were old and some of the plants that they bought from a local Lowes. I was also to test my healing ability and fighting ability. So I fought with the guy I hated the most in this group. Liam. This was going to be fun. We punched each other over and over and kicking each other. Then it was time for the knives. I threw it at Liam and cheered. Then the next thing I know I have a sharp thing sticking out of my hip. I fell to the ground in pain and Ash rushed to me.

“I’m gonna kill him if we continue this!” I groaned out and Ash pulled the blade out and I groaned loudly. I healed in seconds and got the blade and threw it at Liam and it was so close to hitting him but it landed in the tree behind him. My shirt was now soaked in red blood. Liam then threw a dagger at me and I caught it without looking. Well my reflexes are getting better at least.

I could still feel a little pain in my hip from the razor. God that hurt! All this training went on for hours and hours. I didn’t give up but by the time I was done with Liam my eyes were super silver. I calmed myself and me and Ash got in the car to go home.

“You did good for the first day,” Ash said.

“Yeah well I’m in a lot of pain.”

“That’s only because your body isn’t used to the training yet. It will adjust soon and you’ll be able to run a marathon without breaking a sweat.”

“Yeah well when I get home I’m taking a bath in either really cold ice cube water or hot boiling water because I hurt everywhere!” I said and sighed.

We finally got home and I walked upstairs and got some sleeping clothes and went to the bathroom. I turned the water on really warm and ran the bath. Once I was in the tub I started to relax and then someone just had to knock on the door!

“What!?” I said keeping my eyes closed.

“Scarlet wants to know who you want to sleep in your room with you tonight?” Ash said.

“You, Ash I don’t care now go away!”  He left the door and I sighed and sunk neck deep into the water. Then I heard a glass break again and I groaned and got out of the bathtub and dried off and put some sleep clothes on. Just as I stopped to open the door the voices came back.

“Aye there little girl. You know they are just using you. There is no such thing as a God and they are feeding you lies.”

“Get out of my head!” I screamed loud. Then it shot a headache so violent to me that I fell on the floor in pain.
