Dad?

I got up and got my clothes to change into. I went into the bathroom and got dressed and did my makeup. I walked out of the bathroom and everyone was awake and going into the bathroom to get ready real quick. Five more days till the war. You could tell the fear in each and every one of us. This is what we were made to do, and we are going to do it one way or another. 

Ash came in and he didn’t look over at me or anything. I found that a good thing since I’m still mad at him. He was drunk when he did it but still, somewhere in his little mind he should get that he had a girlfriend that was just upstairs. He probably compelled the bar tender to give it to him since he is two years under age. I saw Tristen eye him with a death glare. Well maybe Tristen does have feelings for me. I can’t do that though. Have a boyfriend one day and break up with him and then go out with another guy the next day. That’s just wrong on some levels and I won’t stoop to them.

I went through the events in my head. We’ve had the three demon warnings. We have trained and moved and more training. I’ve met them like I was supposed to do. We have five days until the war. One question though. Where is the war? I don’t remember being told where the war is or when it will end or anything like that. I told everyone last night who my Dad is but no one knows who he is or met him rather.

Once everyone was ready we walked quietly to the field. We were going to have matches while flying, and on ground. Liam went against Scarlet and Scarlet won. Tristen went against Natalia and Tristen won. That meant I get to fight Ash. This will be easy. We walked into the little circle. We were given swords to fight with . I smiled wide and we started to fight. He tried to over power me but then I would kick him in the gut and it would send him flying backwards. I tackled him and held the sword to his throat.

“I win,” I said and got off of him. 

I went to the outside of the circle and I stayed quiet. Tristen came to stand next to me, and he stood quiet as well. Liam got Natalia to fight against him and Liam won. Natalia picked  Scarlet and Natalia won. Scarlet picked Tristen and she won and then Tristen picked Ash. Oh god don’t let them kill each other please. I shield my eyes and tilt my head down. I peek through and see Ash on his knees holding the sides of his head. Liam pulls Tristen away and Ash falls down to the side.

Ash soon got up and he grabbed me. He threw me over his back and took off with me. I was pounding on his back to let go of me. It wasn’t working he kept flying. Finally we landed and he put me down. I unleashed my wings and got ready to take off to go back.

“I’m sorry Eve,’ he said and I stopped.

“What?” 

“I’m sorry. I should not have gotten drunk. It’s just…Tristen came to me before I went out on the strip . He said he liked you…..I looked at you and thought of everything on how I can barely protect you from harm and everything. I started to doubt myself. I was so sad . I went and got drunk and then came home and made the biggest mistake of my life. I don’t expect you to take me back but will you consider it?”

“I…I don’t know if I should though Ash. I’ll think about it alright.” 

I turned and flew home. On the way there I thought about it. Should I choose Tristen or Ash? Tristen hasn’t given me a reason to not trust him. Ash has given me one though but he messed up. We all mess up at least once in our life. Cheating isn’t a mistake though it’s a decision. He said he was sorry though. I shook my head and landed on the roof of the hotel. I sat there and thought about everything. 

Hold on a second. Ash apologizing and everything. That wasn’t supposed to happen! It didn’t happen to Mom. We changed it. I jumped off the roof quickly and got into the hotel room where everyone was waiting for me.
