I Will Kill Him

“Your Dad was killed by a demon. That demon was looking for you and he didn’t give up the information that you were at school. So the demon killed him.” My breath caught and it felt like I couldn’t breathe. That should be me who’s dead or something. My dad was a human being that was just trying to protect me.

“What about my mom?”

“Your mom was killed by the Demon King. They call him Lucifer or Satan. No one has seen him ever.”

“Then who is this?!” I asked and go the slip of paper out. Ash examined it and when he didn’t notice the guy he called Liam over. Liam examined it and everyone else had followed him.

“It says his name is James Crus Crucis.” Liam said and kept examining it.

“Crus Crucis…Why does that name seem familiar?” I asked thinking. I thought on that for a moment.

“Come we can worry about this later its time to train before we lose daylight come on,” Liam said and handed me the piece of paper. My mind was racing with thoughts of where that name was familiar. Who is James Crus Crucis?

“Alright first up is Scarlet and Tristen,” Liam said and Scarlet and Tristen moved to the battle circle in the middle of the clearing.  They went to war like seriously. It looked like the civil war with ninjas! They were flying and punching and dodging and everything it was very majestic. Scarlet beat the crap out of him!

“Next Natalia and Ash,” Liam said and Ash kissed my cheek and went to the circle and they began to fight. Ash was winning until Natalia pulled out a blade and threw it at his stomach. I wanted to run to him and help but he pulled it out and continued like nothing happened. When a Fallen Angel Solider  has a blade thrown at them they only will feel real pain if it lands where their heart is or it lands in the eye. He beat Natalia and it was time for the next  two people. That meant me and Liam. 

I stepped to the circle and so did he. He smiled evilly and I smirked. This is going to be fun. He flew into the air and did a front flip to get closer to me.

“Show off much?” I said.

“Only when my lady is watching,” He said and waved to Natalia. While he was doing that I kicked him and probably broke his jaw. He backed up and was astonished and he put his jaw back in place.

“You’re gonna get it now.”

“I’m so scared!”  I said sarcastically 

He came at me and I started to run there was a tree to where I was running. Perfect. I ran up the tree and landed behind Liam. Again he was surprised. He got the blades out and threw them and I caught each and every single one of them. His jaw dropped. I threw a blade as a warning and it hit a tree almost hitting him. I threw another and it hit his thigh. Another went to his hip and another went to his shoulder. I think he knows I mean business now. Then he charged after me and I front flipped in the air and I didn’t land. What…what the? I looked and I was floating. Am I hung on a branch or something? I looked behind me and I saw black feathers. Did Ash catch me or something? 

“Eve! You did it! You got your wings!” Ash yelled.

I did? I looked again and he was right I had beautiful black inky feathers that shined underneath the sun light. I smiled and flew so my feet touched the ground.

“Congrats you have completed your fighting training.” Liam said and walked back over to Natalia.  

I smiled and ran to Ash and he held me tight and twirled me around. I smiled and he kissed me once and kissed my forehead. Then I realized my shirt has slits in the back now. Great. I guess I might have to do that to some of my shirts now. Ash let me down from the twirl and smiled.
