Chapter 5

Blade's POV

I woke up at 7 this morning, I have no clue how since I usually sleep late but anyways. I pulled myself out of bed since I couldn't manage to fall asleep again. I put my hair into a messy bun, put on gray sweatpants, a baggy t-shirt, and flip flops. Since I didn't have a car yet I decided to walk to Starbucks, which was only about a 10 minute walk. Just in case Autumn woke up I left a note telling her where I was going then left.

~Time Skip~

I had just ordered my drink and was now waiting for it.

"Blade!" I heard being called.

I walked up to the counter and took my drink. As I walked out I was looking down at my phone and didn't notice someone walking my way. I bumped into the person and fell, somehow my coffee was okay though.

"Oh my god I'm so sorry I didn't see you." The man stuck his hand out to help me up.

I took his hand and stood up.

"No it's my fault I wasn't looking."

"Well either way I'm really sorry."

"It's fine."

"I'm Devin by the way.'

"I'm Blade nice to meet you."

"Hm Blade is an interesting name, I can't really say that though because most people call me Ghost."

"Ghost is a nice nickname, I like that."

"Ha thanks, you can call me that if you want."

"I guess I will then, Ghost."

"Well I kinda gotta get going so um can I get your number?"

"Yeah sure."

We exchanged numbers and I went on my way back home. He was very nice and to be honest he was very attractive. I can't think about that though, I just met the guy. But he seemed very familiar and I recognize that name.

~Time Skip~

I got back and sat down on the couch. Autumn was still sleeping so I decided to watch Sponge Bob. What? You're never to old to watch Sponge Bob in my opinion. Oh I just remembered that I'm painting my room today, that should be fun.

~Time Skip~

I had just got back from the store. I bought dark purple paint so I could paint my room. Autumn helped me get all the little things put of my room along with my dresser. We put my bed in the middle of the room and covered it with tarp, as well as the floor. Then we got to painting.

Once my room was done we had to let it dry. I was going to sleep in the couch tonight.

"So do you want to go get lunch?." Autumn said.

"Sure."

We cleaned ourselves up then got into the car. After some argument we decided on Burger King. We ordered our food then sat down at a table.

"So when did you get up this morning?" Autumn asked.

"I woke up at like 7."

"Damn that's early."

I giggled. "Yeah, but then I went to Starbucks and made a friend."

"Ooh, what's has name?"

"How did you know it was a guy?"

"Cause you blushed when you said it."

Oh my god, I did? "Well his name is Devin but he goes by the nickname Ghost."

"Cool, how old?"

"I didn't ask but he looked a few years older than me."

"Now here's the big question. Is he cute?"

"Autumn!" I semi yelled.

"What I'm just asking."

"Ugh yeah he's cute."

"Awe well good luck with him."

"I just met the guy, I'm not going to start thinking about a relationship."

"Alright whatever."

We finished eating and went to the car. The drive home was filled with a whole lot of singing. Autumn put in her Pierce the Veil cd and we sung the whole way home. When we got home I plopped myself down on the couch and started watching Supernatural, which is my favorite show ever. Autumn and I watched a few episodes of that but I ended up falling asleep, I wasn't bored I just have seen those episodes before, plus I woke up way to early.

The nap only lasted about 20 minutes before I woke up by falling off the couch. I opened my eyes and saw Autumn laughing her ass off.

"Not funny Autumn." I said in slight pain.

"It's hilarious actually." She said still laughing.

At that point I started laughing too. When we both calmed down I got up and sat back down.

"I hope that doesn't happen while I'm sleeping tonight." I said concerned.

"Oh don't worry this is a pull out couch you should be fine." Autumn said.

"Thank god." I sighed.

We ended up watching movies and later in the night we ordered Chinese food and set up my couch bed. We were in the middle of the third conjuring when my phone buzzed.

D= Damon B= Blade.

D: Hey

B: Hey, how are you?

D: I think you can guess, how's California?

B: It's really great, Autumn is so sweet and it's great being away from my mom.

D: Cool, I miss you a lot.

B: I miss you too, I promise I'll visit some day.

D: Yay

B: Anyways it's getting late so I'm gonna go to bed.

D: Okay goodnight sweet dreams.

B: Goodnight.

I placed my phone down and went to get in my pjs, I did the normal taking my makeup off and brushing my teeth. When I got back to the living room Autumn was just about to go to her room.

"Night Blade."

"Night Autumn."

I feel into a peaceful dreamless sleep.
