I'll Be Nice

The ocean is pouring down on your head.

You think you might be as good as dead.

Your feet underwater as you wonder in fear

Am I gonna die in my own tears?

He left for some reason

It's not the same you believe in.

I know it wasn't nice

But I've got some advice

Just for you.

Just stay strong for now

And I promise it'll all be over somehow.

You've got to keep your head high

But I know it's hard to say goodbye.

Keep it in the air

Like you don't really care.

Shine that smile so bright

So we don't see the light.

Let your eyes dazzle under that smile

And stay like that just for a while.

Let the ocean try to drown you

But I know that you will shine right through.

I know it hurts

And it burns.

But stay strong for now

Because it'll all be over somehow.

Take a deep breath

Not consume meth.

But just breathe

Until you can see

How happy you'll be.

Don't let that smile droop down,

You work too hard to frown.

You should be happy

And not feeling crappy.
