"Hi!" I said smiling widely at the judges as i enter the stage.

"What's your name?" Asked one of the judges.

"Haivenne Danielle Mc'Flahrty" i say loudly through the mic.

"Age?"

"8 yrs. old!. I live in Grand Prarie Texas!" I say smiling but nervous.

" well.. Aren't you a charming one?. What will you sing?" Asked an old lady, one of the judges.

"Thank u! I am going to sing I Will Always Love you" i say the song starts .

At the chorus.. Everyone seemed to be flabbergasted.

" AND I!!!!!!!!! WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU!!!!!!! WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOUUU!!!!" I sang at the top of my voice.

The song ended . I could see mom and dad clapping their hands and telling people'that's my daughter'!.

I stood there waiting for the answer of the judges.

"Wow.." All of them said in one time.

I smiled widely. I am a good singer.

"That was........." The old lady tried to speak and kept blinking her eyes.

"Amazing.. Best singer i have ever heard in..... MY LIFE!!" She shouted.

I smiled widely.

I hope i win.

"And the grand champion is...... HAIVENNE DANIELLE!!!!" The host shouted which made me flinch.

But i still smiled.

I agreed that i will give half the money to charity.

We only got 10,000 on our pockets..

I could see mom and dad cheering their souls off.

Next morning.

"Mom!!" I screamed from my room.

Yesterday we bought white paint for our house and lots of clothing. We painted my room, black and yellow. My room was now dark and it looked like outer space... It had stars..

I smiled as i saw the small television in front of my bed.

I also have a closet now..

I looked at mom working in the garden.

"Yes,honey?" Mom said wiping her sweat on her forehead.

"My room looks wonderful!" I scream. Enough for her to hear.

"Glad you like it!it was your show.. So you deserve it!!" Mom shouted.

I smiled and ran to the other window which showed the front of our wooden house.

I looked at the sky. The sun was rising.

I looked at the top of the hill.

I spotted a black car coming this way.

I run outside.

The lake was sparkling. I imagined it as a pool. I think we are rich enough to have all this.
