There was no time to question myself about my decision now. The bell had already rung, telling everyone another day of school was over. As I walked out, I still couldn't comprehend what I was about to do, but I kept moving. I got in my car and headed to the university which was only about ten minutes away.
Once I arrived at the university I headed straight for the back of the entrance so I wouldn't be seen. When I opened the door I couldn't see anything but a green light across the room. The light illuminated its surroundings just enough that it shown the machine I was looking for. I stood there for a moment listening just to make sure no one else was in there. Which seemed pretty stupid since it was pitch black inside. So I proceeded. First I felt for a light switch, and once I found one I went towards the time warp machine. When I reached the machine it seemed tremendously larger than it did the day of the revealing.
As I looked at the machine I only saw two screens, one said present and the other said past/future. I hesitated at first, but I finally put the present date in then what time I wanted to go, January 1st, 2010. So I went into the machine and flipped the on only switch I could find. Then my whole world filled with thousands of colors. It was like I was going through a tunnel of rainbows.
