Chapter Five

Turtle boi Pov

Many things happened over the next week. Well, not really. The four of us hung out, went to classes, and that's pretty much it.

I decided I'd try to switch so I'm with Alex. It wasn't that hard to convince Laf.

"Oui, I'll switch. He stays up very late typing on his device, not to complain, but I'm complaining." He mutters, making me laugh.

Then I had to convince Aaron. That was going to be more of a challenge.

"But, Aaron, you know Lafayettes a good guy! He won't bother you at all."

"I realize that, I just don't see the need to move from one room to another."

I thought for a moment, before a solution dawned on me. I paused our conversation, and pulled out my phone.

Thomas picked up on the second ring.

"What do you want, turtle dude?"

"Okay, so you know how you're with Hercules Mulligan as a dorm partner and you don't like it?"

"Yeah?"

"Do you like Aaron Burr more?"

"Yeah?" ((Just pretend they're friends shh))

"Would you be willing to switch dorms with someone, and you and Aaron could have a dorm. That way - "

"Yeah he's much better than Mulligan!" He said without letting me finish.

"Okay, I'll finish talking to Aaron."

I hung up, and turned back to said man. He looked confused.

"Okay, what if I had you switch with Hercules Mulliagan and then you could end up with Thomas Jefferson?" His eyes lit up and he vigorously nodded his head.

A week later, we were all situated. We had changed the rooms and this is how it worked:

Alex and I in one dorm.

Laf and Herc in one dorm.

Aaron and Jefferson in a dorm.

I think we all liked it better this way.
