We went to the back and all sat at the mini bar they had.

"We're ready when you are," Keaton said with a smile.

"Okay," I took in a deep breath and started the story of my journey here.

----------------

Over the course of thirty minutes, I had explained everything from the giant sophomore beating me up in the hallway up to the very moment I pounded on their door. I even told them about John killing Max, which brought tears to my eyes so the guys all ran to get me tissues and ended up wrestling like little kids. Wesley was the first to get up, then Drew and then Keaton. Then, they all got stuck in the small space between their bunks and that's where the tackling took place. They were all laughing and yelling things like "I'm getting Cathy her tissues!" It was a sight that could cheer up anyone. After they were done and had gotten me tissues, now because I was crying from laughing so hard, I finished telling them about my journey. About being held up in that cabin, finding the secret door, beating up John in the tunnel, meeting John's granddaughter and finally his threatening deal. None of them said anything, but their faces said so much. They were stunned by John and how heartless he was. Stunned that I'd been through so much. Then their stunned faces turned soon turned into sad, sympathetic hugs.

"I can't believe what I messed up dude he is," Wes said in disbelief.

"Cat, you can stay here with us. Well, if you want. We have an extra bed and plenty of food," Keaton smiled to lighten the mood.

I went over to him and gave him a gracious hug.

"Thank you guys so much. I'd love it if I stayed," I whispered in his ear.

"After what you've been through, you should be the one sleeping in here while we sleep in the road," Keaton winked at me as we separated from the hug.

To make things fair, I hugged the others to show them how thankful I truly was. These guys might be the start of something new.

Wes stood up and said, "It has been a long morning. I say we make breakfast. All those who agree say I!"

In harmony, Drew, Keaton and I all yelled, "I!" Then we had another good laugh.

They led me to the front of the RV where the kitchen was.

Wes and Keaton got out cups and orange juice while I watched Drew cook. It's like since I met him first, I have to follow him.

Wes noticed my creepy following habitant said, "Hey, Whatever, why don't you come sit down?"

I went over to the table and sat next to Keaton. I had a strange attraction to him too. Wesley, though, I felt as if he were my long lost older brother I never met. Constantly teasing me and doing what older brothers always do.

None of us knew what to talk about so we sat in awkward silence for a couple minutes.

"We should take a walk someday, dream about what we could've been. I don't wanna leave this place, no faith in Brooklyn," Drew then proceeded to rap but I couldn't keep up with him. He really had a great voice.

"You should go on one of those singing shows, like American Idol," I said, complementing his voice.

Drew and Keaton looked at me like I was crazy and Wes giggled.

"What? He has a great voice," I said in defense.

"It's nothing," Drew said while eyeing the the other boys.

It felt like they weren't telling me something. Something important.

Quickly, Keaton changed the topic.
