Forever Boy- 7

Chars POV

"NOOOO!" I bolt out of the store with Alec chasing me.

"Char! Just try it on!" Jenna calls from the front of ICE.

"YOU'LL NEVER CATCH ME ALIVE!!! GO EAT A FROG!" Jenna huffs as I hear Alec's laugh right behind me.

"Crap, crap, crap! Alec can you like not run so fast?" I scold him throwing a glance over my shoulder.

Holy shit he's close.

I dash for the girls toilets but before I can a hand grabs my waist and flings me up over a shoulder.

"Alec put me down." I growl crossing my arms.

"Nope you are trying on that dress." Alec chuckles.

"But PWWEEEASE!" I pout.

"No can do, sorry baby. You can pout as much as you like." Alec walks into the shop and towards a waiting Jenna.

"Oomph." Alec drops me in a changing room where the dreaded dress is hung.

He pulls the curtain across.

"Ha the jokes on you I can open this!" I attempt to fling the curtain open but fail.

"Your holding it aren't you?" I say softly.

"Yup!" Alec chirps.

"Now get your ass in the dress!" Jenna sounds violent.

"Jeez fine!" I sass.

"Really?" Jenna sounds suprised.

"NO!" I yell.

"This is gonna take a while then. Char we are not letting you out until you get that dress on." Alec sighs.

"THATS CHILD ABUSE! YOU CANT KEEP ME IN HERE ILL STARVE!" I panic.

"I came prepared." Jenna says and I hear the rustling of packets. "And you're 17 not a damn child."

"Me-eow." I stare at the dress in front of me.

It fire engine red and so short someone could wear it as a goddamn top.

"So Jenna, care to explain why you found the shortest dress in the whole fucking world for me to try? What happened to birthday shopping?"

"Because it would look good on you and we have brought all the presents we came her for." Jenna explains.

"Just put on the damn dress!" Alec calls.

I hear whispering and the a loud aw from Jenna which turns into an ow.

5 minutes late I give in

I slip off my shorts and top.

I gulp as I put the dress over my head. I don't even look in the mirror I just close my eyes.

"Let me out I've got the dress on." I try opening the curtain and it opens.

"Char! Shit I was supposed to hold th-holy shit......Char you look...wow I mean amazing. Like seriously wow. Can I just say that this dress is like wo-" Alec rambles staring at me with wide eyes.

"Alec you're rambling." I chuckle, interrupting him.

"Oh sorry." Alec grins sheepishly.

"Where's Jenna?" I ask breaking the silence.

"She went to the bathroom." Alec is quick to reply.

"Oh ok." I say and silence is once again upon us.

"Char you really do look beautiful in that dress." Alec breaks the silence.

I look up at him, smiling. "Thanks."

"No problem. Now strike a pose I'm taking a picture to show Jenna and then you can get changed." Alec whips out his phone.

I laugh and plaster a stupid grin on my face.

I hear the shutter once then twice then a third time.

"Alec how many photos do you need?" I laugh as the sound goes off again.

"A lot?" And there it is the sheepish smile that makes me want to melt.

Wait.....what?

I like Jason. What was I thinking?

"Um ok. I'm getting changed now" I quickly back into the change room.

I quickly pull the dress off.

"Char. Give me the dress once you've got it off." Alec calls and I waste no time in chucking it over to him.

I put my clothes back on and draw open the curtains.

My eyes widen as I see Alec at the counter.

"Alec!" I call out as he hands over the money.

Alec pokes his tongue out at me as the lady behind the counter puts the dress into a bag and gives it to Alec.

My legs start running over to him and I lunge for the bag.

Alec holds the bag above his head and I fall to the ground.

"Why'd you buy it? It was expensive!" I cry as I get up.

"Because it looked good on you and I wanted to!" Alec looks so innocent.

"Damn you." I growl at him.

"You love me." Alec winks as he links his arm with mine and pulls me out of the store.

"YAY YOU BOUGHT IT!" Jenna squeals. "Wait what did it look like? I didn't see it! PUT IT BACK ON RIGHT NOW!" Jenna demands.

"Actually he bought it and no way we are in the middle of the shopping centre!" Jenna is one crazy person.

"Don't worry I got photos!" Alec says waving his phone around.

"LET ME SEE!" Jenna makes grab for the phone.

"WOW! SEE IT LOOKS GREAT I TOLD YOUUU!" Jenna dances around me poking me.

"Whatever."

Last time I'm going shopping with these two. EVER
