Title: A Birthday Gift For A Birthday Boy

Summary: It's Kyungsoo's birthday but Namjoo forgot.

Storming out of the classroom as the clock strikes twelve, Kyungsoo immediately finds for a certain girl on the cafeteria. He tiptoes just to see the lovely girl from the crowd who he really wants to see today, on his special day.

But sadly, he guesses right. Namjoo is absent today. He does nothing but to sigh. He thought it will be a memorable day for the both of them but he's wrong.

"I guess, I have to celebrate my birthday myself." He says to no one in particular.

Kyungsoo checks his phone, hoping that Namjoo's name will pop on the notification bar but found none.

"Did she forgot?" He asks himself.

Even a simple greetings like "Happy birthday Kyung!" or "Hey! You have to treat me because today's your day!" will make his day already completes but—

"Right. She forgot." He mumbles, sliding his phone back inside his pocket and walks to his room. He's not in the mood to eat anymore. Because he doesn't get to see Namjoo.

Kyungsoo is hesitating whether he'll call Namjoo or not. His class is done but he doesn't want to go home this early. He wants to see her today by hook or by crook but the mere fact that he's too coward to tap Namjoo's number for a call is a bit disappointing for himself.

"Just tap the fucking-----" Kyungsoo's eyes widen feeling his phone vibrates and seeing "NAMJOOOOOOOO~" plasters on the screen.

He unconsciously fixes his collar and brushes his hair before accepting the call like Namjoo can see him.

"Hello?"

[Kyungsoo-yah!]

Kyungsoo smiles hearing her voice again. Namjoo sounds so happy right now and that makes him feel happy in an instant, too.

"Yes? Why are you absent anyway?"

[I overslept. Sorry. Oh! I want to tell you something.]

Kyungso bites his lower lip as he feels that familiar feeling on his cheeks. He's blushing. He knows it. Namjoo wouldn't forgot—

[Please come here and I'll borrow your notes.]

Kyungsoo's face goes sad again. He's expecting Namjoo would greet him but no. He's wrong again.

"O-okay."

Is what he only responds.

"Do you, do you know what's the date today?" Kyungsoo can't help himself but to ask. He wants to know if she really forgot.
