A quick disclaimer, I do not own the characters or story arcs mentioned in this fanfic.

This takes place after Captain America Civil War but before Spider-Man Homecoming, in case you were wondering.

Have fun, and always comment.  I'm always looking for suggestions!

Aunt May had just walked out of his room as Peter held the ice pack up to his face.  Right as the door shut, Peter uncovered the blanket that had his improved web shooter underneath, and a light illuminating the ceiling above.  The light had fancy tech designs around a symbol.  A symbol that people would see when in need of assistance.  This was the symbol of the Spider-Man.

Peter had dealt with a lot of excitement over the last couple of days, and summer vacation was almost over, meaning he had to get a regular sleep schedule in for the new year.  He also remembered he had video games and lunch with Ned Leeds tommorow.  He absolutely couldn't tell Ned about him being Spider-Man.  Especially since Spider-Man fought in the Avengers Civil War in Germany.

He woke up the next day, and got a clean shower in.  He opened his closet, and saw the new Spider-Man suit hanging up in there.  He debated whether or not to bring it with him, until Aunt May called up to him; "Peter, breakfast is ready!"

"Thanks Aunt May.  I'll be down in a sec,"  he replied.  He quickly stuffed the suit in his backpack, and put a couple of other things on top.  Slinging the backpack over his shoulder, Peter rushed down the stairs and went to have his breakfast.

"Hey there, sleepy head,"  Aunt May said, handing Peter a plate with scrambled eggs and bacon.  "How's that head treating you?"

"Oh, it's fine, thanks,"  he replied.  He forgot all about the ice pack Aunt May had given him last night for his head injury.  "That guy didn't know who he was messing with."

"I'm sure he didn't, knowing my nephew was the one who showed him,"  Aunt May replied.  "But, promise me, no more fighting, please! I don't want to have to go to a hospital with my nephew split in half."

"Heh, heh, yeah, no problem," he replied.  Peter had several instances as Spider-Man when he had a minor injury that Aunt May helped him heal from, and she didn't suspect anything.  "So, you're going to Ned's house later today?"  she asked.

"Yeah, I can just walk there, it's no trouble,"  Peter declared.  He didn't know when trouble would be out in the streets, and he didn't want to have to fight the urge to decide whether to fight if Aunt May was around.  All of a sudden, his brain got a shock of sounds: a woman screaming, and a loud crash, and police sirens wailing.  With all of this in his head, and only himself hearing this with his super sense, he knew he had to fly.

"Actually, Aunt May, I'll head down now.  Ned just got this new system, and he might need help hooking the thing up to his TV,"  Peter claimed.

"Oh, that's fine, honey,"  his aunt replied.  "Have fun!"

"Thanks, I'll see you later,"  and with that, Peter closed the door.  He rushed down the stairs of the building, and ran out the door.  He took a turn into the nearest alley.  When you lived in Queens, you knew where to do your business if you wanted it kept private.  He quickly changed into the suit, and thwipped off into the distance, his Jansport backpack still on his shoulder.  He used his spider sense to find the problem.  Liberty Avenue, and he had to get there quick.  He didn't know how long he had before this woman saw her last day.

"Help me, please!"  the woman shouted.

"It's no use, Madame,"  the man said.  "Your screams mean nothing to the people of this town.  You will perish in my hands."

"Not unless I can help it!"  Peter shouted, donned in his Spider-man suit.  "Here comes your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man!"

Peter stuck his legs out mid swing and gave the stranger a mighty kick.  He fell to his knees, and Peter stuck the landing right next to the woman.  She was slightly elderly, somewhere between her mid 40s early 50s.  She wore sunglasses that completely covered her eyes.

"Stay put, pal.  Cops will come to pick up the garbage in an hour or so.  In the meantime..."  With that, Peter webbed up the man at his feet and his hands, falling over at Peter's feet.

"You do not understand, you fool!"  the man started.  Peter put a layer of webbing on the man's mouth, and he muffled insults at him.

"Yeah, pal, sure,"  Peter taunted.  "They all start with that.  Tell it to the judge."  He turned back to the woman, and she looked towards him.

"Thank you very much Spider-Man,"  she said.  "You are a hero worthy of all civilians in this city."

"Oh, it's not a problem, ma'am,"  he repied.  "I'm happy to help."  With that, Peter thwipped off into the distance, knowing Ned would nag him for being late for their gaming session.

"Perhaps Peter Parker is who we need..."  the woman said as Peter swung off, police officers swarming the area.
