I walk into Jacks house and shut the door quietly.
"Hey." Jake appeared out of no where and suddenly was in front of me.
"Hi." I say with a fake smile.
"That smile was faker than Britney's boobs. Come on, talk to me." He holds out his arms so I can hug him.
I hug him and smile, "Thanks."
I slid off my bag pack and he leads me to his room.
"I tried to come out to my parents." I admitted.
He smiled but soon faded, "What do you mean 'tried'?"
"I asked them if they knew what transgender was and then they took over the conversation and I sorta kinda told them that one of my friends came out and they told me to kill that friend and I lost it in my room then that's when I called you" I knew I was talking fast but he listened to me like I was the best little rappen white boy.
"Listen, Dan, you're gonna have to tell them." He said it. The words I never wanted to hear.
"No I don't." I protested.
"Why?" He asked.
"I can move away to Canada and ignore them forever..."
"Dan, you're 14. You can't do that."
"JACK, were young. Nows our time!"
"You sound like Mrs. Emrick."
"Shut up."
"You're not running away."
"Okay."
"You can stay here for awhile."
"Really?"
"Yes. Totally. My parents are never home though."
"Yea. I know. When's your dad coming back?"
"I think in a mouth. My mom like two at lest."
His voice breaks a little. It's been this way forever.
"Oh. I'm sorry." I pat him on the back.
"I can call them and ask. They'll say yes surely." Jack, good old Jack. Always there for me.
"Okay. Thank you so much." I smile at him.
"Now, that was real legit boobs." He laughed and so did I, "I'll call tonight."
"Okay. Thank you so much." I repeated.
"It's nothing." He continued on his phone. Calling his mom.
I hear muffled sounds. Then he comes back, and for some reason, my heart was racing.
"She said you could stay. "
