I put on convers.

I had wavy hair, and I did my makeup.

I looked back at my phone.

it was now 9:28.

I grabbed my purse and my phone and started walking to the diner I was meeting alex at.

I was really early so I walked into a shop on the corner of the street.

"hi, how can I help you today?" the worker said not turning around.

"just looking," I smiled even though he couldn't see me.

he turned around.

"Bailee?" he said the same time I said; "Aidan?"

we laughed and smiled.

"sorry about the extravaganza last night! my family's crazy," I smiled.

"it's not you, those three boys where weird before you came along." he said.

I laughed.

"I am pretty weird," I smiled.

"are you completely moved here, or just for the summer?" he asked.

"where trying out the summer, Kayla, my sister is looking at the college here, everyone in my small family has some reason to be here except me," I said.

"and honestly if my mom and Kayla move here, I'd still try to go back home to be with my grandma and my boyfriend." I said honestly.

with that someone walked in and said loudly, "Aidan I'm terrified!"

Aidan and I both turned around to see alex.

he broke into a smile.

"hay bailee, what you doing here?" he asked.

"well, I was really early so I decided to shop around and I found him." I laughed.

"why you terrified bud?" Aidan said.

"oh uh," he paused.

"I'll tell you later," he said.

it was silent.

but both alex and I were uncontrollable smiling.

"well, Bailee, we go know if you want too," alex said nervous.

"yeah," I smiled.

"bye Aidan, nice talking to you!" I said following alex out of the store.

he held the door for me.
