"uhm, Marc, I'm going home already."
"Sophia, I'll send you to your house."
"Marc, No need, I could handle myself."
"Sophia, you can't win this case, you're the one who said it, that's what friends are for... and this is the least that I could do to repay you from everything that you have done for me."
"OK, I know I can't win from you, so, where's your car?"
"That black one over there, let's go."
As we walk towards the car, I was just amazed by people here, they are soooooo...... rich.
Marc opened the door for me, then we rode the car and drove ourselves home.
Keneesha's p.o.v.
Sophia is too lucky to have a friend like Marc... wait, why am I thinking that it's like I'm jealous with Sophia, uhhhh No way...
"Keneesha!"
That voice is so familiar.... is it the CNB (Crush ng bayan)/ school owner???
I looked back and yes, it is him.
"so, what do you need?" I asked.
"actually, nothing, I just want to ask if you have eaten your snack because I saw you working earlier."
"why do you care?"
"because you are my friend, here..."
He gave me a paper bag.
"what's this for?"
"so you wouldn't be hungry when you start your rehearsal for your play."
Oh my gash..... I forgot about our play.
"uhm, I have to go, my groupmates are waiting for me. Bye, and thanks."
"bye."
I ran towards the auditorium and bumped Leann.
***Leann's p.o.v.***
I was finding Patrick when I bumped someone. It was Keneesha... and she was holding the paper bag that Patrick bought.
"Bes, I'm so sorry."
"It's fine bes, by the way, I'm sorry, I need to go, our rehearsal would start after a few minutes, bye!" she said and she ran towards the auditorium.
I went downstairs and saw Patrick.
"Hi Pat, so I now know to whom did you give your paper bag with snacks. To a guy friend huh."
"yes, I did give it to a guy." he said while he is smiling.
Oh my... that freaking smile of his makes my knees weak... Oh come on Leann.. what's happening to you?
"Oh, so you really gave it to a guy... so you're telling me, my best friend, Keneesha, is a guy?!"
Leann, why are you acting like you're jealous... please stop yourself.
"what are you talking about?" he asked with a very fake quizzical look.
"ask yourself." is what I've said and then I left him.
***Patrick's p.o.v.***
After she left, I asked myself if I did something wrong? Is she jealous? Patrick, OK, calm yourself, you're just friends OK.
***Sophia's p.o.v.***
There was a bit if awkwardness here inside this car, especially with his parents. I'm unfortunately sitting beside him and his mom because they need to go home to prepare for their trip to China.
At last, after 12345 years, we reached our house.
"Marc, thank you. Mr. and Mrs. Pimentel, thank you."
"No problem dear, this is the least we could do to repay you for being Marc's friend and call me Tita." Mrs. Pimentel said.
"thank you Tita, Tito, it's a pleasure meeting you."
"No Pia, the pleasure is ours." Mr. Pimentel replied.
I smiled and I went out of the car and entered our house.
***Marc's p.o.v.***
"She's pretty son." My dad said.
"dad... I don't like her, she's just my friend."
"Oh really." My mom teasingly said.
"OK, I'll admit it to you, I like someone but not her."
"Oh, so who is the lucky girl?"Mom asked.
"Keneesha Go."
"The owner of Go Malls?" Dad asked.
"yes dad. You know her family?"
"of course, her dad, Mr. Go is one of my best business partners." He said.
"oooohhhhh." That is the only thing I could say. What a small world!
***The next Morning***
***Sophia's p.o.v.***
2nd day of class! I'm so happy that after the first day, I'm still alive.
I stood up from my bed, prepared myself, and went down to eat breakfast.
"Pia, who sent you here yesterday?" my mom asked.
"Ma, it's Marc, my friend."
"a guy?"
"yes ma."
"Pia, do you like him?"
"Ma?! It was just my second day, and your asking me if I like him? No way."
My dad joined us. He is holding a pink box.
"Hi ladies, what are you fighting about?"
"Nothing pa."
OK, I didn't notice that I was straring at the box, he followed my eyes.
"OK, I know you're dying to know what is this for, actually, it's for you."
I grabbed the box.
"thanks pa, so what is this for?"
"nothing, just open it."
I opened the box and I saw what's inside....
an IPhone 5C!!!!
Oh my gee!!!
